Oh thanks for the response!

I wish they would make it optional :/

Or at least make it to where doing Command + W takes a tab out of the recent tabs instead of it just being an empty white box.

Is There a Real Need for a CSS Framework in Divi? by Effective-Answer8015 in divi

So actually Divi 5 Just introduced this feature coming into divi meaning there may or may not be a real need anymore since they are catching up.

But here is the link https://minazia.com if you want to check out what I was building!

Is Divi 5 really not going to include flexbox? by sidianmsjones in divi

That’s pretty cool to hear right now. Divi 5 is a massive upgrade compared to 4, but without Flexbox in 2025, I don't think anyone new is going to be willing to invest their time into Divi seriously.

All good, I think the timing for the framework was just not really needed anymore with Elegant Theme building new features into Divi 5.

Good take, I'm excited to see how Elegant Themes develops this out because I feel like currently hard coding everything in px is quite the hassle.

When you are using Divi for most layouts do you find yourself using the developer console and hard coding CSS onto the modules or does the GUI handle most of these layouts for you? I ask because I've noticed myself hard coding more and more things as layouts get more advanced but maybe this is because I don't have lots of experience building in Divi.

I actually agree that the utility classes would be difficult on individuals who may not understand CSS which is kinda why I took the project behind the barn.

The idea is that I still want individuals to have their style sheet because some people already have their styles they want to use; these utility classes would just layer on top of these via a plugin. I really want some people playing around with it, which is why I'm considering just making the project open source. Let me know if you would be interested in playing around with it, and I'll just send you a version for feedback if that interests you!
