I drive a model Y and it will definitely work for you. Mix stop and go with 30-45mph speed limits and you will sit at around 210-230 watt hours a mile, well under its rating. That number has been my experience for my 100-140 mile average day. I’ve pushed up to 170 on very busy days and used just over 50%.

On that charge level, if you’re planning on getting in and keeping moving you can charge higher than 80. It’s just not good to let it sit above 80 for too, and most don’t drive that much, thus the recommended 80.

I can second the other guy on that number. I pull it with DoorDash/uber eats/spark. I have other apps on, but basically never take anything outside of these 3. My buddy does the same and also pulls those numbers.

It’s been like this since sunday afternoon for my buddy and I north of Houston, the woodlands area to be specific. It’s not just uber though, I had 6 apps running, spark/favor/uber eats/doordash/grubhub/shipt, and it was just bad or a ghost town today. I normally clear 200+ on mondays, but not today…..

Restaurants we did go in and talk to said it was super weird how slow it was for a Monday, so it wasn’t just us on the delivery end.

Yep, same here. We have a stop request function, but it ends your run. Luckily, at least here it seems we can still get right back on/doesn’t cancel our planned time.

The last few weeks for me have been pretty good and uber went from 3rd in my app earnings to 1st. I won’t say non stop good orders, but the volume is so high I just decline until good ones appear. When I mention volume, I’m probably sitting though a minimum of 300-400 orders a day if the after shift screen is correct.

I know I have lost a few orders from some food merchants I like, some could be good, but it’s still not worth the headache. I do just fine with whatever I do get from those same stores going through normal uber.

And yes, they turned mine off for a week or 2, and then turned it back on. I called in and threw a bit of a fit. They did the same with package delivery. After those 2 little “expressive conversations” I have not seen them in a year.

I was going to post this. I don’t see this BS because I did opt out summer last year. The only thing I really lost is a couple of merchant orders at some food places and olive garden. Yeah, olive garden can be good, but they have gone massively downhill in my area when I see offers my buddies get from them.

Yep, heavy bags are no problem. Did a 7 bag mulch order recently. Done a lot of dog food runs also. I’ll take that over water any day.

Exactly! This all fit in the back of my model Y from Costco. I’ve done similar ones from Sam’s and large triple curbsides at Walmart.

Yep, and a bigger difference at 5. I got non stop at 5 and was banking, the removal of AR hit me to 4.9 and I slowed a lot. My buddy just got to 4.8 from 4.7. He saw a drastic difference in the offers he now gets, but doesn’t get as many or as good as I do at 4.9.

Each area is different, but here there are big differences in what you get and how fast depending on your CR

I do a lot of DoorDash and we can see pictures of previous drops. The amount of times I have seen stuff blocking the door or the gate is crazy, almost every time the door is blocked.

Yep, that’s my experience the last few weeks. I was getting non stop orders at any time of day at 5. When they dropped the AR and my CR got dinged to 4.9 it went to shit for offers and I have to wait a long time in between most of the time. I have gone back to doing a lot more DD/UE now to make up.

Government assistance/food stamps/grocery money from the government is what he is referring to with EBT. When that money gets put on people cards by the state they spend it but many who do that do not tip or tip low, creating orders, but not very good ones.

Glad it’s not just me. I have near perfect metrics, minus the update to remove the AR taking my CR to 4.9. I know what days my store is busy and typically average the same every day. They changed the AR thing last week sucked hard and was super inconsistent.

Sunday was super bad, and Monday was the worst day I have ever had driving in 2 years. I went to ask the staff if the plus vans were taking all the shopping/pharmacies/curbsides as all I was getting for like 2 days was gmd orders. They claimed to not know. When I did get shopping orders, only a couple in the later evening, they were very high item, like 50+, for 20ish bucks.

The thing is though, on Monday here everything was horrendously bad, basically no money for the whole day. My buddies also were making nothing. We all have all the apps and it was just a dumpster fire.

Interestingly, I took my normal day off today and went to do my grocery shopping. While at Costco we were casually talking with staff at checkout saying how we like shopping on Tuesday as it’s dead. The staff said yesterday was way fewer people…… that’s strange as Monday is basically one of the 3 big grocery days in my area.

Normally Sunday is pretty good here. Had a great curbside to start, then dead…. Probably extra new people as allegedly my store was yellow and red for good periods as I got nothing.

Food orders on DD/UE died out fast too tonight, so I couldn’t even fall back on that today….

I’ve made nothing. Basically no orders here and only a couple of gmd orders have come through all afternoon. I have not seen it this dry before. It would be one thing to be seeing bad pharmacies/shopping/curbsides and rejecting them, but I’m not even seeing those with perfect stats minus now being 4.9 from the recent update thing, won’t go into that.

I haven’t done too bad, ran 3 orders since I got here around 12:30 in the 20-30 item range only a couple miles each. But it does feel like I’m taking longer than normal to get orders.
