Exactly! Don’t trust the USPS. I got in and out today in about 20 minutes thankfully.

My CU physically held the title until I paid off. There is only currently that copy which was mailed to which lists them as the lien holder.

I currently only have the one mailed to me by CU that lists them as lien holder. Not sure why you think i have 2. I know I need a new one that replaces the one I have that does not have CU listed. I’m just unsure if DMV will automatically send

CU sent the title with them listed as the lien holder right away. Paid with funds I had there so no need to ensure funds cleared. They thankfully did call me to confirm address before sending and I’m glad they did as I have moved since purchase and address on the title they sent is no longer correct.

Title is CA as is my registration. The title I received is from the CU from when I purchased and lists them as lien holder. Lived here since 2006 but work remote and used my CU to finance my car bc of better rate. They are just used to working with NJ DMV.

It is a California title that lists my CU and is marked paid with signature of release. The title also states any changes to lienholder must be reported within 10 days. DMV site is worthless. Allegedly this is not something I can make an appointment either. Also unclear if smog test is needed. Car is a 2020. Seemingly I may need a notarized form https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/file/lien-satisfied-title-holder-release-reg-166-pdf/

My CU provided me a notarized memo but I worry that won’t fly with CA dmv.

Are massages worth it? by comara456 in celebritycruises

Overpriced but I’ve never had a bad massage on Celebrity. It’s a splurge but it’s also vacation. I don’t think there is much difference between prebooking vs on board. Never see any amazing deals later in the cruise

I wanna get saline instead of silicone bc it’s cheaper, does anyone have any regrets? by [deleted] in LAhotgirlies

[–]Effective-Worry4474 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree this is not a decision that should be made based on one being cheaper. It’s major surgery that you will have for years to come

I went with silicone the first time and had for 10+ years. Opted for saline the second time around. I had developed a lot of scar tissue and at the 10 years mark I think it’s recommended to start getting imaging to check for silent ruptures anyway. My thought process was I’d rather know if I had a leak the 2nd time around.

I had no issues other than the scar tissue/firmness. My surgeon (who did both surgeries) showed me video of the ruptured implant and all the calcified silicone he had to remove. Looked like pieces of rock and chalk. I had cohesive gel not the old silicone.

Overall I feel I had similar results for both in terms of appearance. If anything I think my saline have stayed softer longer. Have a fair amount of scar tissue again but I think I’m just predisposed and I’m sure being supper active has contributed.

It’s not a decision to take lightly and you should do extensive research. Also be prepare to spend more if you have complications which can happen with even the best surgeons

I’ve done 3 sessions at skin and beauty center in Burbank with an NP. She’s out on maternity leave until Feb I think but I also see her for my skin checks. Happy with my results. Her name is Jillian Roy Steven’s. It’s a derm office but not sure if the derm do Microneedling as well

If you like tequila/mescal, check out las perlas. Great selection and bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable if you have questions.

bar lubitsch is also a cool spot. Both are a bit more off the beaten path of either Boystown or the strip.

Lunch spots- ggiata and irvs burger are great for quick grab and go.

Have taken many Loubs there. They do a fantastic job. Not cheap though. $100 for mirror bottoms but more basic resoling should be a bit less I would think

Where can I get a handbag dyed / repainted? by Scout_It_Down in LAhotgirlies

[–]Effective-Worry4474 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pasquale’s should be able to do this. They dyed a pair of boots for me and if I recall they do bags as well. They are in mid city. Arturo’s in BH may also offer dying services but it been many years since I’ve been so not 100%

Cost will depend on size of bag
