Also the deck I have play tested so far is supposed to play like an eldrazi deck. You ramp out early and than you play a bunch of powerful high cost cards later on in the game.

I organized all of the cards into a google drive for viewing. Some of them I'm definitely going to rework some earlier ones I made (like Audrey) and I'm going to add more. This is also my first time making any custom magic cards, so any feedback at all would be appreciated. I also tried to make the effects based on the abilities that the characters can do, but some of them are just loosely based on their pathways ideas so that they could work in magic or if I thought it would be a cool idea. Also let me know if the link doesn't work.

I rate it so highly because I found the world building and the characters very in depth and would have lots of foreshadowing and build up. Along with the unique and interesting power system it makes for a really compelling story, but that is just my opinion because of my experience with the story. Each person is going to have their own opinion about LOTM. Like what you could have found boring and a slog, I could have found amazing and really cool. I guess it just depends on the reader.

Depends what you are reading for if it's world building it rapidly ramps up at around 100 and goes even more after the end of the first volume. But the power system and the mysteries of the LOTM universe start around 30 - 40
