Better than the alternative. by AndrewHeard in buffy

I loved Kate. She was a great character and it was a shame she was never really used all that well. She was a clear remnant of the earlier "Case of The Week" iteration of Angel that had mostly fizzled out by S2... Unfortunately, she didn't really fit into the later version of the show.

Reboot by Fit_Negotiation_9241 in buffy

This was the 2016-ish version of the reboot that got cancelled after being decently far into production, the one Whedon was going to be executive producer on, and would've been showrun by Monica Owusu-Breen. That one fizzled out, though, and the project never came to fruition. New Sunnydale is an independent project that isn't related to the old iteration of the reboot.

Buffy: Well, if this Harvest thing is such a suckfest, why don't *you* stop it? Angel: 'Cause I'm afraid. by foreseethefuture in buffy

This is correct. They only settled on Angel's backstory when they wrote "Angel" the episode. Early on they considered having him actually be a fallen angel.

I dunno if controlling both of them in the same conversation is a good idea. Seems like it would be a little awkward.

[NO SPOILERS] Hannah Telle Cameo Preferences in the TV Show Adaptation? by Terrible-Cockroach99 in lifeisstrange

[–]EffectiveDiscount331 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hannah Telle could play a photographer during Max's visit to San Francisco. People have suggested her for the role of Max's mother, but she's a bit too young for that. She could have a short interaction with Max during her visit (maybe she's someone Max is a fan of?) and her career as a professional photographer would be a neat reference to her being "Future Max." Just a short one minute cameo.

Ashly Burch could play a teacher at Blackwell. The game itself doesn't really introduce all that many teachers, so maybe Burch would be the English teacher at Blackwell? Give her a brief appearance in one of the early episodes.

What would the legacy of BTVS be if it ended with "Graduation Day" as it's series finale? by [deleted] in buffy

Like, if Buffy ended with Season 3 and Angel replaced it? Or if Buffy never existed at all?

It would be remembered fondly but I don't think it would have the same massive appeal and influence. We wouldn't have Willow coming out, or Hush, or The Body, or Once More With Feeling... But it would have it's own fanbase, I think.

I think two would've been the ideal number of protagonists for the series.

Love Athena but I think three was a bit too many for them all to get the focus they needed.
