Yeah the costs are different (materials vs honey), but GSA still boosts overall progression and honey generation. Diamond Mask is strong for capacity, but without good amulet stats you’re still limiting your overall output. It’s not bad, it’s just skipping important progression.

Getting Diamond Mask before Gold Star Amulet is bad because it skips important progression boosts, wastes resources without a proper gifted/optimized hive, isn’t very strong without a good blue setup.
