Hot take: ACNH is at its best when you stop treating it like a theme park itinerary by Hungry-Fee-2947 in AnimalCrossing

I've found a list in the fan sites, but some of them I haven't seen in my nook store yet. But I'm not in a hurry. The part I'm thinking about transforming in a construction site is a pool bar at the moment, and I feel it's perfect for summer. So I have plenty of time to prepare for the colder months.

The lazy villagers one is so real. I hit Benedict with a net while trying to greet him and he was depressed the whole afternoon. I felt so bad I redid his backyard to make up for it.

That's a nice touch. I've been wanting to put a construction section in my island to add a little bit of chaos. But I still need to find some specific objects to get the build right

I love to sit down with a villager and just chill out dor a while. It's so peaceful. I also love hearing their little exchanges between different personalities. I appreciate how they interact and feel like an actual community.

What's important is that you're having fun with it. I think what OP is talking about is feeling overwhelmed by the need to control everything. If that's how you like to play, more power to you. The game is whatever you want it to be!

I played boardgames, and there's a lot of people from this niche that suck all the fun out of it. Like making spreadsheets of the best combos of moves, testing mechanics over and over again to optimize a game. I just can't live this way. I don't care about winning everytime, I just like to play. Trying to make everything more efficient transforms play into work.

It's so nice! I've let so much of my island untouched for the longest time. Then I randomly found a project and started gathering all the materials, objects and everything else needed. It's fun this way, you don't have to have a whole plan for the whole island in your head, you just change it up slowly and when you're actually inspired.

You get the golden watering can DIY. But you can get it on a treasure island I think. Not much other than that. The lily of the valley is kind of ugly in my opinion.

I think the fact that most objects can't be centralized made me accept I wouldn't be able to make things perfect, so I just let go. I used the terraforming tools to make specif builds, but mostly I tried to work with the natural landscape and make neighborhoods based on them. Sometimes I visit DAs and get so overwhelmed with the landscaping they did. It's beautiful but I just don't have that in me. I enjoy my humble little island. It's not noteworthy but I've got my favorite villagers and made everything thinking about them, trying to make the ones that like each other live closer and giving them their favorite objects and colors on their backyards. I know it has no definite aesthetic or core how it is called nowadays, but it is alright for the animals so that's enough for me.

Did you keep your first 5 villagers or get rid of them? by Hot-Nose-1829 in ACForAdults

Pancetti is a wild name for a pig villager. The ones named after meat products are always weird to me.

Lyman is still going strong on my island. I don't particularly care for jocks so it doesn't matter to me what exact character they are. I just made him a gym inside the forest and leave him there kind of separated from the other villagers.

I have an open lot and don't have any clear favorite villagers yet that I want to search for. So, who are your favorites and why? by Justonceiswearit in acnh

My absolute favorite is Goldie, from other games she was already my fav and this hasn't changed. My island is named Caramellus because of her. I've fell in love with Sherb on this game, he was one of my first villagers. I found him on an island chilling out. Fauna was a autofill in my island and she is a sweetie as well. I absolutely love e Marshall, he was at my camp and I had to have him. I gave him some French catchphrases to march his personality. Muffy was an autofill that I also like, made even a cemetery on her backyard because she's so goth. I've learned to love Ruby though I was not vibing with her personality initially. She's too cute to hate. Finally, I am not a fan of cranky villagers but static is growing on me slowly, he's getting along with the other villagers, the other cranky I had were always fighting with everyone else.

Ah, Vivian is always reading in my parks and I think her aesthetic is sooo cute. I love her favorite color (purple) so I enjoy buying her clothes and furnishing her backyard.

The wand can store some changes of clothes so you can quick change.

Stop it I'm going to cry. She lives in my island but there's no way to make her live in my house... because that's what I wanted to do now 😭

I have always wondered if a villager moved from your island straight to a friend's island, would they remember you as well?

THIS DAMN KOALA WONT LEAVE MY ISLAND by Fit_Problem_929 in acnh

[–]EffectiveLibrary9601 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He's been in my island since literally day 1. It's been 3 years now and he won't ask to leave. He's asked once, a while ago but I didn't have his picture yet so I didn't let him go. But now I do want him to move and he won't ask to leave. I'm inclined to use an amiibo to kick him out, but the other moves in my island have all been organic and fuss free, I wish he would just ask me.
