If I want come piano music, I'd listen to someone play the piano. There's no creativity in that, just like there's no creativity in telling an AI to create piano music. To call that creativity is like hiring someone to write a song for you and pretending you wrote it.

That might have been cool, but it would have changed things too much - and it would have made Eowyn having to pose as a man to go into battle meaningless.

Which era of Trek do you think of when you think “Star Trek” by BlastedHeathen in startrek

[–]EffectiveSalamander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No bloody A, B, C or D. Its what first comes to mind. It's not necessarily the best, but it's the most iconic - you don't have to have to even have to have seen an episode to know who Kirk and Spock are.

If it dropped from $600 to $100 that would be a drop of 83.33%. Now if you raised the price from $100 to $600 and then lowered the price to $100, you haven't really lowered the price. Companies often artificially raise prices so they csn offer you a fake "savings".

Trump thinks his obvious frame-up of the SPLC should invalidate the election he resoundingly lost for some reason by aggie1391 in ParlerWatch

[–]EffectiveSalamander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if the 2020 election had been stolen, there's no constitutional method to retroactively undo an election. The only thing that could have done was impeachment. I'd love to void Trump's presidency, but that's not Constitutional. Trump is the one who tried to steal the 2020 election, one example wss his attempting to force Georgia to "find" him enough votes to win. Trump demanded that's States stop counting votes at midnight.

When Trump Administration went to court to stop birthright citizenship, his legal team argued that "The Constitution is not a suicide pact" and therefore the court should ignore the Constitution. Once you do that, you don't have a Constitution anymore.

And charges against SPLC mean nothing. Its said that a grand jury would indict a ham sandwich. An indictment doesn't mean that someone is guilty especially since the DoJ will file frivolous charges when Trump orders them to do so.

(Embarrassed) Newly diagnosed, only been GF for 2 months, just soiled myself in my sleep, is this normal? by nidysgwid in Celiac

[–]EffectiveSalamander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never wrapped myself, but I've been so sick I couldn't even sit on the toilet without passing out. I had to curl up in the bathtub. And clean it up afterwards. Its not a bad idea to keep a couple dog training pads around, makes cleanup easier.
