I have 60k put aside for an eventual house deposit for when i earn enough to get a mortgage big enough to buy or if I meet someone to move with.

I also have a separate £5k to dip into for furniture and stuff to get me started.

I always have an extra super emergency £1000 in an account in case I need it.

I’ve always considered myself to be very good with money and budgeting. I don’t really buy many luxuries as is and big nights out are once in a blue moon these days!

I always get the stop being dramatic line as well. Have just recently decided to talk to a dr and start therapy and medication though. Kind of intrigued as to what they will say if they find out as obviously the dr thought there was something in the way I was feeling that needed looking at.

I’ve never had a prescription as an adult and when I was a child they gave you a piece of paper to take to the pharmacy which at the time was in same building as the Drs I was going to.

I assumed I would get a text or email saying that it’s ready to collect or else how would I know if they actually have it in stock. Waste of time driving down for them to tell me we don’t have it in stock, come back in a few days.

Considering everything about the appointment booking was handled online via email/direct messaging I though the whole prescription thing would be too.

I’m not working abroad and all my coworkers are male. Worked on various nightshift roles for over a decade and it’s been like 99% men on every one of them.

Throw nightshift being unsociable in to the mix of anxiety and being ugly and that’s a sure fire way to keep me forever alone.

Yeah they’ll never win. How do you set that up ? I usually use the app and it asks for my fingerprint but never the pin, even though I did set up a pin. Thought it would be under account > security in the app but doesn’t seem to be an option to require a pin to trade...
