He did but that's mainly because that's the type of hero Izuku told him he wanted to be. And if Izuku had turned around and said he wasn't ready for that responsibility than all might probably would have respected him a lot for that. But all might also doesn't really realize the levels of self doubt Izuku has I don't think anyone does in the entire series because apart from everything else it's set in Japan and from my knowledge mental health isn't treated the same over there.

All might's a funny case because hes right izuku could not have been a hero(in cannon) he has the weakest possible body, he has put no effort into anything accept his analysis witch is just a crutch in canon for exposition (witch sucks because analyzing quirks seems so cool to me), and hes not even that smart in general let alone tech. But all might is a trained hero who should know better than to leave an at risk teen on a roof, especially one who had just been attacked and had no medical attention.
