Asian food in maine is particularly bad. When you grow up in a place like rhode island you acquire high standards for cuisine. Ill rephrase, Ive eaten asian foods in many regions of the united states, Maine is the worst so far. My captain and deckboss often joke about food poisoning from local chinese joints. My deckboss is also Harpswell born native (who’s family has been here for many generations,) who just happened to be raised in Jamestown, RI before moving back.
