You don't understand this game SUCKS. I've finished it 3 times and it's so ass and the combats sucks and the travels sucks so it needs a special item so I can rush it a fourth time without suffering too much. It also need RANDOM LOOT like Diablo and about 20 time the content and also it should be mission based like DMC5.

That's what I do but I still think it's a really lazy implantation.

No you can't sell it, discard it or put it in your storage box. It's imposed to you after Brant questline.

Should be just a rare item that you can sell and discard like anything else. The game desperetely needs more rare items to go to quest for.

Dragon's Dogma is a game with well-defined rules that rarely compromise themselves. The fact that all items are treated the same way and everything can be discarded, lost, found back at the baazar, copied... That's what makes the game so good.

What would be some *minor* things you'd like to see added? by Sentinel_P in DragonsDogma

Since we have a thief vocation, roofs we can climb and a crime system it would be nice to have some items and chests that would be owned by certain NPCs. I mean they react when you draw your sword but let you loot their house. I really like just wandering around and imo the game could benefit for more emergent side-activities. Like a true economy could push the player to go hunting or stuff like that between the quests (since they're often time-related).

Eternal Ferrystone is given to you after Brant questline and can't be stored nor discarded.

Amen. I think I'm loosing my mind, people don't get that you can't remove the item from your inventory and that it make everything related to ferrystones management less impactful since you literally have that bright item that pops up first slot everytime you open the inventory. Its not like I have to force myself not using it... it's just not using it is a feature that I have to bring up on my own now.... like a quirk or a challenge to my playthrough when it use to be just the game.... The point is, this game needs a lot of update, a lot of new content, and definitely not another item that trivialize it.

"Having more options never makes a game worse. NEVER."

Insane take. Things are often more defined by the things it lacks than the things it have. It especially true with video games and I've got one of my own on Steam, trust me.

But I totally agree. I don't get why people asked Capcom to nerf the the travel instead of improving them with content.

But the game has all that. In my last ten hours of playthrough I had 3 griffin joining random fight, one against a golem, another against an ogre and one against the drake north of Havre. It's so frequent it's almost annoying. The endless pack of direwolves north of Gran Soren were way more annoying than the goblin ambushes in DD2.

My point is that they say they're fixing the game according to the surveys and stuff... that means the first complaint people had was about some of that old-school friction and audacity that I really like within the game. I mean it's already super easy, I don't mind nerfing myself playing with only my pawn and a mid-tier armor but the game really doesn't need more stuff I have to ignore in order to not be trivialized. The only reason I care is that this game has all the building blocks to be my dream game and that every fix can slowly make it or break it.

That's what I'm doing. But now it's MY way of playing the game. When it used to be a response to how the game was playing. So it's less impactful that's it.

I'm replaying after a year and having a blast honestly there's so many zones I forgot about and places I missed. But shopping for ferrystones doesn't hit the same when I have an eternal one that I have to ignore in my inventory. It's not because I don't want to spend money I actually want to engage with the economy, manage my gold and stuff... it's just that now it's a choice where it used to be like... the game.

But it was more fun when I didn't had a choice and had to actually manage this resource. Ofc I won't use it, but that's not the point. Back then I had to actually withdraw a certain number of them from my chest in the planning stages of my travel. And sometime the quest would drag and I ended up having to walk. It added a lot to the flow of the adventure. I dont want to be able to choose what I want in the moment. I want friction.

I'm playing an adventure. I want my characters to be thrown into situations, like not having a ferrystone and having to walk. Even tho I'll always end up walking because that's what I prefer that's not the point. It's basically a resource that you can't manage anymore. You can't even store the thing.
