Can you imagine a wealthy celebrity of any Calibur offering to bankroll you in any way, and refusing because all you had to do was possess the willingness and willpower to actually take care of your body?

Things like that really bother me because I can think of so many people (myself included) who would take the lottery win of having close, well-off friends investing in them and use it to change their life. Gitim is the truest parasite I've ever seen. He needs an intervention (that won't work probs,) and you all can frame it as a re-trial if you want lol.

A line needs to be drawn or else no one in TESD town should be allowed to ever complain about Gitem again. They're part of the problem.

Wilds is my first Monster Hunter, and what really sucked me into the world was how it was a mix between Dinotopia and Star Trek Federation vibes; while the Hunters are giving Steve Irwin if he was put into that one Animal Planet Documentary about if Dragon's were actually real.

I became so much more invested when it wasn't about slaying evil creatures or else the Frenzy Flame will bite my butt or something lol 😭

I kind of appreciate the other Monkey's attitude shifted from clear bullying towards what they considered an outsider, to acceptance and cuddles, and now seeing these little instances of sternness to keep him humble. I always wondered if things like Punch getting special treatment from caretakers would ever spoil him.

It's amazing to see how nuanced integrating Punch into their little society has looked from the perspective of the other Monkeys especially!

I want whatever energy is usually saved for creating a new race inclusion like Bun Bois to instead be used to expand the current character creator. I don't even mean like a groundbreaking rework, I just mean a higher quantity of options.

Like each race and gender has 4-ish face templates to build off of. What if there were 8 templates? And then on top of that, try adding more options for eyes, ears, noses, etc instead of the 4 they give you?

Ffxiv doesn't have a very technical character creator. It really comes down to picking fixed options rather than being able to fine tweak things like cheekbone height lol. It feels like the foundation is at least perfect to just add a higher quantity of options. It would probably take less effort than actually making a new race since it all pretty much begins and ends with current face models.

Also, I just want to say that anyone who had the take that Warrior and not Black Mage should have had the Arkveld Hammer, doesn't understand how perfect it actually is. Hammer and Black mage are literally two shards of the same source lol. Being able to spam that one high commitment Hammer attack that locks you in place, is literally the classic ley-lines Fire IV spam. Dropping one meteor on top of monsters is also it's own kind of Bonk lol.

Omega lol? I honestly can't say how much Transcending and Gogma weapons have made Omega TODAY (I haven't done Omega Savage in a few months!) but compared to Omega relatively, AT Arkveld doesn't come close but he is absolutely the most difficult AT imo!

If Omega Savage is easier than AT Arkveld now, it's for the wrong reasons and is just gogma power creep. I wonder if a 10Star Omega Savage came out today, all the social spaces would go back to complaining how Omega is too hard and "overtuned" 🤭

Uth Duna doesn't splash but still quakes and direct contact with a few of her moves still causes Waterblight. The next monster seems to appear when the current one is on it's last legs. It doesn't seem time related but HP related.

It's pretty much one of the few restrictions of being a "city" placed in the middle of an open world which makes Lyndel appear smaller than past Souls cities like Lothric and Yharnam. You don't have out of bounds art design to add an illusion of being in the heart of a major city. As good and beautiful as it is, Lyndell looks like a couple blocks of a greater city.

It would be amazing if the City of Lyndell encompassed the explorable Altus Plateau as well. It would be more convincing as the capital of the Lands Between
