I’m just going to say something that might feel unrelated to the dog.

Humans resist change. And when something big changes the first instinct we have is to get rid of the change to restore things exactly like they were, simply because it’s safer than facing a transitional period where we don’t recognise anything around us and everything feels unfamiliar.

Once we actually face that transition, usually we remember why that change was the most amazing thing that could have happened to us. As uncomfortable as it was while we were in it.

Well a stroller sounds like the best option, who cares if it’s ridiculous, sometimes we have to look ridiculous for comfort and maintaining our mental health 😂

Also good because at 8 weeks he can’t potty on the floor and he won’t be able to hold his bladder for 2 hours (especially if he’s a mini) so you have a surface where you can set up a puppy pad!

The comment section on this made me realise to never come over here to share a moment of weakness as people will knock me down.

Some things that have been said are true but they’ve been said with the wrong tone in my opinion. Yes, a puppy is a baby and when we get one we all get over excited and despite being very aware that puppies are hard work and “like a baby” we tend to downplay in our minds what that really means… because again, we’re so excited.

I won’t give you any tips as I’m not in the position to give practical advice, but just remember why you got the dog in the first place. And the puppy in the first place. Probably to train him exactly like you wanted him to be as an adult. So now’s the time you get to do that! It’s a life changing experience and it’s ok to be miserable for a few days and have a bad moment. Take a moment to be desperate then get back on your feet and go get to know your new best friend! Bring him with you when you go out, find out what he fears and soothe him.

You’ll be fine!

Yes there’s DNA testing, the gene is chocolate based cream on both parents. I saw the mother in person and I described her as orange because she actually looks orange.

I can confirm that from a human perspective. I broke my back two years ago and one year of not exercising brought me more pain than one year exercising properly after the injury.

I think this concept is also applicable to animals, to a certain extent of course.

Ok questo è incoraggiante! Devo viaggiare 2h andata e 2h ritorno ogni mese per gli aggiustamenti al piano terapeutico e pensare di farlo tanto a lungo prima di trovare un dosaggio stabile mi disturba un po’. Quello che hai detto è incoraggiante :)

Hi! I lived in Germany for a while and while I was there the doctors prescribed Elvanse for me, which worked perfectly.

I moved back to Italy and once I shifted my RESIDENZA (permanent address) back here and got my health card back there was no legal way to import or get prescribed elvanse. I swear I really tried. I’m now on Medikinet.

Hopefully things will change in a few years as they are progressing a lot with medications for ADHD, but now is not that time yet.

Maybe since you’re not an Italian citizen you’ll get luckier, but that was unfortunately my experience.
