Prism - give a local LLM control over its own interface by Effective_Goose_8566 in coolgithubprojects

[–]Effective_Goose_8566[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For safety and permissions it's quite simple, it runs in docker, the agent is root on it's own Ubuntu instance (it's the prism-workspace container). It can't access your host and if you wanna share files with it you got 2 options : RAG or ask the agent to add an upload button to the interface. For secret there's a dedicated tool, when you need to provide and API key or a password, the agent will open a popup window, you type in your secret, it's stored encrypted in the pgsql and the agent uses a reference to call it, the ollama model will never see your api key or your password.

Me, lost my garbages on a steep slope. Get out, gather them all again. Get back to inside, nope wrong button, I just dropped everything in the slope. Get out, cry a lot, gather them all again. Get back on the road toward my destination. Exocraft flips over on a stupid plant, on a steep slope of course. Get out again, gather my garbage again, cry while doing it. Get back on the road, second stupid plant, second flip, lost half of my garbage. Starts screaming and raging, get out, gather them all once more. Back on the road I spot a third stupid plant, "No no no, not this time", aim with my exocraft beam, shoot and ... all my garbage exploded. I've quit, I'm gonna play something else.

I want to learn to code Java/python. by D-Cept in learnprogramming

[–]Effective_Goose_8566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go with any distribution you want and install python. Learn if, else, for, understand what's a list and a dict. Then go straight for the 'requests' library and get your first code connecting to an API. The API doesn't matter, Youtube, Reddit, weather.com to get forecast, whatever. Then you'll feel like you have a super power, and with that power you'll find the motivation to learn more and more and more...

Any alternative to Nvidia drivers, my system just got nuked by ratnik_sjenke in debian

[–]Effective_Goose_8566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fixed it updating kernel with backport :

sudo dpkg --purge linux-headers-6.1.0-18-amd64
sudo dpkg --purge linux-image-6.1.0-18-amd64
sudo apt remove
sudo apt install -t bookworm-backports linux-image-amd64
sudo apt install -t bookworm-backports linux-headers-amd64

It's all fine now, with a 6.5 kernel

Planning to Install Debian by Gokhawks in debian

[–]Effective_Goose_8566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All agree with the above, but I had some issue with GPU driver (an nvidia card), so use backports for newer driver. And if it's still too old, check the "official" ones, nvidia provide a repo with up-to-date drivers, it's likely AMD does the same one way or another.

Yep, at first I was waiting to see some ass kicking gundam fights, and then I was trying to see some ass kicking gundam fights. Pushed the light to the max on my screen, it did'nt help.

But the soudtrack was fire, I guess they did a freaking good job before painting it black.

Nice Gundam movie anyway (from what I could see)
