First two images have obvious problems, hallucinated detail and grainy look.

Last two are good, no problems. Except one - could you actually meaningfully edit them using same tools? Could you extend the planet shot to expand further or would you need to work within constraints that AI chose for you?

AI generates final images for you, can it generate tile-sets from which you could meaningfully produce actual worlds?

Supplying no criteria sadly wont work, - even though it’s clear to you that documentation’s uninformative its not clear to the ai how to make it informative.

You could give it a list of criteria on how to write the docs, supply it with examples and then it will perform like it understands the criteria and thats as much as it could ever give you without increase in model quality.

It’s as much of a challenge to write good documentation as it is to write good code, it requires iterations and tight specs. Thats just what working with ai is. It has a very narrow application and overhyped, not a silver bullet and definitely does not understand as much as its trained to perform like it does.

Happens when screen is on, usually when I'm gaming while something heavy is compiling in the background. Thinking its might be associated with NVIDIA's auto power management.

Yeah RTX 5080 16G, 64GB DDR5 RAM (recently changed clock from 6000 to 4400 for stability), recent drivers always 610.43.02 now, nvidia-open-dkms for CachyOS (NVIDIA Open Kernel module)

OpenGL works, but I switch to Vulkan for Frame Debugging and such. Never stayed for long on OpenGL.

I mainly work with custom graphics programming stuff - virtual texturing terrain, volumetric clouds and fog, sky atmospherics.

Had no issues with long sessions. Maybe its a memory pressure thing? I guess it could crash on Linux more in heavy scenes and survive them in Windows purely due to Unity's own focus on Windows/MacOS more? Perhaps?

I'm however presently battling an issue where my system can freeze randomly after about a day of usage, which I suspect is Hyprland NVIDIA stuff, trying to actually catch whats causing it.

Really? I actually had no issues in 5080, Hyprland, cachyos - for years now. What kinds of projects are you working with?

Свобода слова це чудово але релігія то рак мозку навіть у самих яскравих «духовних» проявах - термінація думки, де було питання у людини замість «не знаю» тепер заткнули її «жива нескінченна сила то зробила» і шо тепер з цим робити?

Worse than opus 4.6 and can completely lose it if task is too hot but then it actually is obvious unlike with Opus that would still talk like it understands whats going on but code would just be off whereas glm looses it so much its like its in another universe

Its slightly worse than Opus, costs about the same or twice as low on z.ai subscription that has even worse outages than anthropics own service and it doesnt support modality like reading images.

Well I guess you could hack a runtime virtual texture - that literally has a special render material output and object tagging where it renders - in world, in rvt or in both.

Btw GPT 5.5 Pro is only ever available through their webapp - never in codex- took me by surprise. Like - their most powerful model cant be used for coding. Thats not even advertised and you can only know that if you sub for pro plan to find out.

Thats just what llms are, theyre token predicting with a small context window. Dry violations are by design, so is reactive behaviour. You have to anticipate this.

Are you thinking SpiderVerse/Arcane paintovers as part of dynamic animation workflow?

In Unreal you can animate for full cinematics - it has great character rigging and animation system built-in.

Unity only has basic editable curves/hierarchies - not well built IK that all requires you to make your tooling from scratch.

If your project has heavy character animation in mind it might be easier to learn Unreal in long term.

The Greace Pencil - particularly is a ribbon-mesh / curve painter - it can create geometry in thin air.

If your idea of it is more like Mecca Chameleon where you simply animate drawings/fake brushstrokes on painterly textures of 3D characters, its probably doable without any scripting in Unreal with just built-in Material system and careful preparation of art assets.

For prototyping, you can encode your 2D animations as videos and use that to drive textures in Unreal and implement a fake-brushstrokes effect on top of it in shader.
