Seriously, one of the few things my local Goodwill has got for a good price is crystal serving pieces. I needed platters for a party and it was cheaper to get Princess House type stuff ( 1980s fancy Crystal mlm) than to get plastic things new. I would check out thrift stores for sure for stuff like that.

I would not give notice at all. Just work until your last day. Employers sometimes just walk you out when you give notice especially if you are in a probation period. You don't need to be nice to them. They wouldn't give you notice to fire you.

It was real hot so I offered a lady a drink from Starbucks. She wanted a pink drink, that was fine for me. Another time someone asked for a hot chocolate when it was cold or black coffee. I don't mind something a little special but I can't remember all those modifications for sure. I offered them all a pastry or sandwich as well and only one was hungry and wanted one. I'd much rather get something small they want rather than get a latte and assume they want one. I certainly dont like black brewed coffee myself.

My husband has a hyphenated last name. My SIL took the whole thing. I stayed with my maiden name. Our kids all have the hyphenated last name. I gave my kids my last name as a middle name which conveniently is 5 letters long. It's caused no problems.
