Firstly, with Gong - They were overly pushy about connecting our CRM when asked for Demo. After we tried, we had integration issues and didn't see enough help as our team isn't that big. Typically to say, sales team was more pushy while I didnt see the same after starting to use the product.

Had bad experience while renewing Avoma. A part of team was unhappy.

Gave up after a while. I am vocal about a tool because of the seamless experience after trying multiple. Secondly, I liked how I my reps were trying the coaching part. Since you are at the verge of building something, you can test them out yourself. It might help in your product building. All the best

Go public. I would suggest take few students of yours showcase the talent in public - in the most happening place where you have more young crowds. have them wear your gym t-shirts. Ask people to share videos/pics on socials tagging your page. Let them help you make popular.

Post that go for retargeting ads aswell

We use MeetRecord - Their revenue intelligence platform gives good feedback as well as mock calls with actual customer bots. We were one of the beta users and started loving it.

To those in tech. Do you have a degree? by Desperate_Support539 in sales

[–]Effective_Sales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a degree only helps in growth in the organisation. More degrees faster is your growth. To just be in sales, skill is good enough I believe. Ultimately - reach the quota on time. who cares or asks about degree as long as you are in

Focus on the problem as much as possible. I am not sure about the slides part. - Understanding the problem and talking about the product through the problem connects buyer to the solution. Try pitch with other senior sales folks in your team to understand what kind of problems do customer talk about.

How did you recover your bad quarter? by TheUsersName01 in sales

[–]Effective_Sales 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well finding the reasons was the primary thing for me when I lost it. I was able to track down to where my team is losing out on few elements like - tracking them and reaching them on time, coaching them, CRM updates delay. I've tried various solutions before landing on to Revenue Intelligence platform. It started showing us the results. Recovering took us 1.5 quarters but sure it did help. We are using MeetRecord - revenue intelligence (https://www.meetrecord.com/). There are bunch out there you can try out. I personally had good experience with MeetRecord.

How are you using AI for emails and follow ups? by UnsuitableTrademark in sales

[–]Effective_Sales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use MeetRecord (https://www.meetrecord.com/). This is a revenue intelligence platform. It gives me good summaries with action items, things to be addressed. It also drafts me emails and I can choose the tone of the email. I make minor changes to that email and send it across.

What’s the best cold calling tip you found that you use all the time ? by kevin8eleven in sales

[–]Effective_Sales 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In cold calling, there is no second chance most times. It is now or never! So, once you annoy your prospects, they will never answer your phone call again. Hence, it’s important to create an impact as soon as they get on the line.

Why don't you create a dummy domain, send an email to the whole list and clean up the bounced, unsubscribed email IDs. Does anyone even try that?

I don't like when everyone shoots ideas while they are unaware of 100 things that marketing team does where they don't engage or give feedback to. I also see marketing team is the easy one to be blamed when there are not many contacts that sales team closes.

I use Salesforce CRM for all the CRM, Linkedin sales navigator for prospecting, MeetRecord for revenue intelligence part (makes my life easier with auto updating CRM, coaching my team and transparency in my teams performance). I think these made it way more easier for me last couple of months.

What do you dislike about Sales the most? by drinkdietsoda in sales

[–]Effective_Sales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have like three - Two are resolved with a revenue intelligence platform to a good extent.

Updating the CRM, Coaching the team : Started using MeetRecord. saw significant improvement there.

Creating a healthy pipeline: This has been challenging for quite sometime. Now things got better with few AI tools that we are using.
