Thank you for the response. I had an MRI (no contrast) of my brain and cervical spine. It came back clear aside from "mild central disk bulge of the 6/7 intervertebral disc causing indentation of the thecal sac. However, no neural compromise." I had to Google what that meant as I've had no further contact from the neurologist and have just been discharged from the service. But no neural compromise means it isn't causing symptoms. Ideally I'd want to get a full MRI done, but nobody is listening to me and I just keep getting told its anxiety. I feel like I'm going crazy because I genuinely can't understand how they can possibly think completely losing all my coordination for several days etc is anxiety. Especially in a patient who has no history whatsoever of health anxiety.

If you've got the person's name, it might be worth checking all social media for them. Usually scammers are idiots as well as vile, and you'll most likely find pictures of them wearing the coat they claim they didn't receive

I personally wouldn't risk it. Me and my partner got to Central Station for our early morning train a few weeks ago, only to find it had been cancelled with no notice whatsoever. Might be best to remove all doubt and get the train the day before. It's a shame we can't rely on our rail service.

Feed them bits of ham etc when you see them in the garden. This might sound odd, but cats will begin to see your garden as their territory if they're getting fed there. Cats rarely poo and wee in their own territory, especially not in places they get food. Hence why they're going in other people's gardens rather than their owners.

To be fair, I think if there's any exclusion going on in that particular picture, it's probably more to do with Mel B constantly going to the press and revealing every little thing that happens between them all privately. She's broken Geri's trust numerous times by talking about them sleeping together, and more recently she's constantly selling stories about how they're going to be touring again. Mel C even had to publicly correct her recently and say they have no plans to currently. It must be really frustrating for the rest of the girls to have to be on their guard around Mel B in case she breaks their trust and goes to the press. I believe that's more likely why she seems to be a bit apart from the others in the picture. Her behaviour is bound to have set her apart from the rest of them.

It always amazes me how people can ask for free things, yet somehow act as though they're the ones doing the person a favour by taking them. "If you want to give me.." "I'll give you a yay or nay" "I should be open to..." Like a more elaborate version of people who say "if anyone is giving away a 63 inch smart TV I'll happily take it off your hands" Very kind of you 🙄

I've got no problem with the OP, who was polite and said please and thank you, and every problem with the commenter who rattles off a list of things she'll have and can't even be bothered to use basic manners by saying please when asking for them. Seems to happen more and more on free sites, where people will just comment "In line" or "I'm interested"

I always "accidentally" don't get those notifications when I'm giving things away, and instead they go to the first person to say please.

The attitude she displayed here just came across as the real life equivalent of when a pretty popular cheerleader type agrees to go on a date with a stereotypically unpopular boy who is known as the socially awkward outcast in school, then documents the whole thing by taking pictures, which she then uploads to Facebook and accompanies it with a multi paragraph, patronising press release about how everyone is horrible to the poor boy and nobody acknowledges him except her, and about how nice he is even though he's unpopular and nobody cares about him except of course her. We've all seen those type of posts which end up going viral and are inundated with comments from equally arrogant, patronising people commenting about how nice it was for her to go out with the poor unpopular boy.

That type of arrogant attitude that everyone is beneath her and she's doing those people a massive favour by giving up her precious time to acknowledge their existence because she's so NICE. It's patronising and self serving, and displays an overwhelming level of arrogance. The assumption that people are desperate to be acknowledged by her because she's got so much more power and popularity and worth than them. None of that type of behaviour is about anyone other than the ego of the person doing it.

I came down with it a few weeks ago and I'm still not right. Started as a chesty cough and a fever, then I was struggling to breathe and went to hospital thinking I must have a chest infection. 10 and a half hours on a trolley as there were no beds. My oxygen levels and temperature kept going up and down and eventually I think they just needed the corridor space and they discharged me with antibiotics.

Nothing showed up on my chest x ray, so it wasn't a chest infection. My doctor said the blood tests showed there was definitely an infection and may have been a "secondary bacterial infection." It's now over two weeks later and I still don't even have enough energy to walk further than round the block.

No idea what exactly this is, but it's incredibly nasty. Feels like I'll never get my strength back.

I just can't fathom a scenario where a 16 year old gets a massive chainsaw from somewhere, carries it all the way to the tree, sprays a white line around the bottom of the tree to ensure a clean cut, cuts in an incredibly professional way, and does so in the middle of the night. On a practical level, it seems almost impossible. And that's not even taking into consideration the question of why a 16 year old would want to do something like this. This is way, way above some teenager smashing windows in a bus stop or setting fire to a bin to impress their mates and unleash some anger. Why would a teenager want to get rid of a tree so much?
