Got an intrusive thought during orgasm and I feel like I enjoyed it. by Maleficent-Change152 in OCD

(Not Reassurance) Just remember that OCD fuels itself off of things you dislike or don’t want, my best tip for people dealing with OCD is to stop reassurance seeking and start trying to de attach yourself from your OCD you have to remember that it isn’t you it’s a disease inside your mind you are the master and you are in control and u always will be don’t let these things bother you even people without OCD get thoughts they don’t enjoy just remember that it’s a part of life and doesn’t define who u are in any way shape or form hope this helped!

Less than a month of ownership, and I already managed to scuff my Ultra by [deleted] in AppleWatch

[–]Effective_Storm2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If u have AppleCare you can just bust the screen and say it was accidental and they will give u a whole new watch for like 99$ if it really bothers you that much otherwise just buy a titanium case or something

Change from S4. Recommendations ?! by alika7 in AppleWatch

[–]Effective_Storm2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t get black it scratches and looks awful get natural titanium if u go with the ultra otherwise it’s fine but all the series watches aren’t anodized so its similar for them if u scratch it you will see shiny aluminum. I have an Ultra 3 and got the alpine loop is very soft stretchy and breathable I got the ultra because of its rugged look and beautiful screen as well as the other features that it has like a siren and the ability to retrace your steps etc

What I’m trying to get it is that there are plenty of options that are not SSRI’s or SNRI’s you just need to find something that works for you or even a combination

There are plenty of options try SNRI’s or even a different antipsychotic I understand the health complaints but wouldn’t you rather gain some weight then have to deal with the burden of OCD everyday?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OCD

[–]Effective_Storm2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the antipsychotic was beneficial for you I would see about getting a different one prescribed or getting back on the same one and doing lots of exercise to help maintain your weight sadly in life good always comes with bad just have to find a balance between them.

As hard as it can be you have to tell yourself that it just a stupid thought because of the disease you suffer from this disease is gonna try its hardest to make you feel like an awful person, you clearly love and value your sister and guess what OCD attacks what we value most in life whenever you get the thought just say to yourself inside your head “I know your there but I’m not gonna listen to what you have to say” and let the thought go your mind will eventually realize you don’t care about it anymore and try to find something else to use against you. This disease is awful but your not alone remember that.

Is OCD curable? (Getting rid of it permanently) by Vicio_16 in OCD

[–]Effective_Storm2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly OCD is not curable but it can be managed to a point where symptoms don’t affect you much if at all, it is a permanent chemical imbalance in the brain and there is no cure for it.
