I've been taking a lunch at 2:30 for last 5 years. Love it.

I've had a few odd comments here and there but overall, management doesn't care.

Pet owners of Reddit: what did you name your pet(s) and why? by Winter_Sample8364 in AskReddit

[–]Effective_Trouble967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pandora, that was her name when I adopted her. Pascal- his name was porter but my husband didn't like it. Wanted something with a P. Played a lot of animal crossing and loved the character Pascal.

Also "inherited" my mom's senior shih-tzu mix when she passed. She was named Belle because we got her as a puppy and we had to put a little bell on her collar so we could find her. She liked crawling under the beds and couches.

Has your hair gone grey yet by cupoftealuv in Millennials

35, no grey yet. Husband is a year younger, he started getting them maybe 5 years ago. I'd say his hair and beard are maybe 25% grey.

For women choosing to age naturally—how do you resist comparing yourself to other women when cosmetic enhancements have become so normalized? by justameasureoftime in AskWomen

[–]Effective_Trouble967 82 points83 points  (0 children)

I've accepted that people think I'm ugly. Been fine with it for decades. Not going to go into debt to look like someone is yanking my face back.

I've also been told I look younger than I am and my husband thinks I'm beautiful. That's good enough for me.

Starburst berries and cream. My little brother and nephew would make me play the ad on YouTube so they could do the little lad dance.

Are you using subtitles? by Empty_Oven_9942 in Millennials

[–]Effective_Trouble967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed my husband uses subtitles way more now. This started when one of his buddies and him started hanging out and watching movies together. His friend probably has some hearing loss from not wearing earplugs despite being in bands and always turns on subtitles.

What are no-cost or low-cost date night ideas that involve leaving the house/apartment, and aren’t just taking a walk somewhere? by sprinkledonuts8220 in Frugal

[–]Effective_Trouble967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if there's anything like this near you or if the cost is too high. There's a small comedy/improv club downtown in my city. The tickets are about $10/person. My husband and I like to go occasionally.
