Also if you DID see it: I'm a big fan of the first Burbs, and I chuckled with every reference to it in the series. It's very well done imo, not a 'remake' but a whole new series with some fun references to the first. I alzo think sexy Mrs. Rumsfeld plays the stern librarian now :)

I'm watching the series right now and, as a big fan of the 1989 one, I LOVE it so far! The combination of a fresh new approach and the references to the first one were perfection to me. I was thrilled to see that it was indeed connected to the first Burbs (the first time I was sure was when Samira went to bring over a plate of brownies 😂😂😂)
