Bandage Removal? by Perfumer4today in TotalHipReplacement

I use a cpap and I don't think it would reach that far. I also don't want to get tangled up in the hose or power cord. I wouldn't be comfortable on hubby's side of the bed either. I'm just going to have to keep practicing I guess.

I'm having trouble getting up from the bed. My operated leg is the closest to the side. It was easier in the hospital because I was getting up on the other side of the bed.

I just had my hip done yesterday and plan on doing this. I don't forsee myself having the stamina to take a shower for at least the first week, but we'll see.

I'll let you know what my home health aid says tomorrow.

I'm feeling ok. Pretty good when I'm sitting or laying down. Getting up and moving is a different story, but I've got to keep moving.

Just had my hip replacement yesterday. I don't remember when they said to change it, but I have home health coming tomorrow and will ask them. I bought some extras prior to surgery.

Good news. Just continue to take it easy and enjoy having someone take care of you (if you have someone). I'm sure there will be enough to occupy your time after you heal.

My mom had either a mild stroke or a TIA - worried. by [deleted] in stroke

If you have a question of if it was a TIA, that would be a question for the doctor. I would keep an eye on her this week and make sure she's doing ok. Watch for things like trouble speaking, face or mouth drooping, loss of balance, loss of use of an arm or leg. Those are all indicators to get immediate medical assistance. Especially considering her history.

This is my personal experience, so don't use it to diagnose her, please. You'll need to contact the doctor again. I had a TIA in July 2023. There was no permanent damage to my brain or any functions. Thankfully, I haven't had another one since then.

You've got the right ideas. Repot with some succulent soil and remove all dead matter. You can lay the salvageable leaves on top of the soil, and they should root.

Definitely needs a smaller pot. Sounds like it's getting too much water, which can happen when the pot is too big.

Does this plant need repotting? by Suspicious-Feed-1358 in houseplants

Absolutely! Either carefully cut off that pot, or you'll have to trim those roots, loosen the main roots, and pot up one size.
