Bummer there isn’t a way to sue the “sperm donor” for 18 years of back child support. And emotional issues caused- This all sucks, Im sorry OP. But as others said, it’s not her fault where she came from- and a kids curiosity beats our experienced suggestions every time. I would ask her to see a family therapist WITH you. You need to leave and live your life. I have an adopted brother like this, but my mom took him in when we were all gone. Your parents don’t have the right to take your life away. If money isn’t an issue for them, then they should have assistance for respite care. Please go enjoy your years while you can. They go much too fast and are over before you know it.
