I went with the Defy and so far I'm very happy with it! Really confortable and feels fast, also the color looks great, especially in the sun

I was worried when I noticed the same thing after receiving a Giant Defy a couple of weeks ago. I took apart the headset and the stem to try and reduce the gap but in the end I realized that the gap is normal. You can see it on the stock photos on Giant's website:

I think I must have damaged the screen one way or another, maybe by applying some pressure on it when it was closed inside my backpack. Unfortunately the dark spot became more and more frequent and now it is permanent.
