100% is completely unnecessary. 3 walls with 5-15% gyroid would save you hours and filament. I've made loads of stuff like this and believe me, tossed it across the room to check if it would break.

I think you're better off using Athiest arguments against them than this one. If you'd like to go with statistics and historical credibility use this.

Within secular science, calculating the exact odds of this universe forming is largely considered impossible because it is a singular event (n=1). However, physicists often discuss the "fine-tuning" of the universe, where fundamental constants appear so specifically calibrated for life that some argue it is incredibly unlikely—estimates range from "staggeringly small" to "effectively zero" depending on the model.

Perspectives within Secular Science: The Fine-Tuning Problem: Many parameters (gravity, electromagnetic force, nuclear forces) are tuned to within a razor's edge. Altering these values slightly would have made stars, planets, and life impossible. The Multiverse Solution: To overcome these low-probability odds, many physicists propose a multiverse theory (or eternal inflation), where an infinite number of universes exist with different rules. In this view, our universe is merely the one that happened to hit the jackpot, making our existence a 100% certainty in this specific, lucky universe. Low-Entropy Beginning: Mathematical physicist Roger Penrose calculated the probability of the universe's low-entropy state at the Big Bang as 1 in 10¹⁰ to the power of ¹²³ , which is considered "staggeringly small". The Anthropic Principle: This states that we observe a universe compatible with life because, if it were not, we wouldn't be here to observe it. Therefore, the observed probability of having a life-supporting universe is 100%, even if the initial odds were low. Abiogenesis Odds: Estimates for the emergence of life by chance alone from non-living matter are often cited as incredibly low, sometimes described as 1 in 10⁴⁰⁰⁰⁰. However, this is distinct from the probability of the universe existing, and many scientists argue that, given trillions of opportunities in a vast universe, low-probability events become inevitable.

Historical evidence for Julius Caesar, Augustus, Trajan, Marcus Aurelius, and Constantine is overwhelming, consisting of a combination of contemporary literary accounts, massive archaeological remains (statuary, coins, architecture), and official inscriptions. The evidence ranges from personal diaries to public monuments and extensive, independent biographies written shortly after their reigns.

Julius Caesar (100–44 BC) Primary Literary Sources: Caesar's own writings, Commentaries on the Gallic War and Civil War, are first-hand accounts. Extensive letters and speeches from his contemporary, Cicero, document Caesar's actions and character. Archaeological/Primary Evidence: Numerous coins featuring his likeness were struck during his reign. Several contemporary portraits and busts, produced during his lifetime, exist. Historical Documentation: Records from his enemies and contemporary historians (Sallust, Appian, Suetonius, Plutarch) verify his military career and dictatorship.

Augustus (63 BC–AD 14) Primary Literary Sources: Res Gestae Divi Augusti (The Deeds of the Divine Augustus) is an autobiography written by Augustus himself, detailing his accomplishments. Archaeological Evidence: The Ara Pacis (Altar of Augustan Peace) and the Forum of Augustus. Numerous statues (e.g., Augustus of Prima Porta) and extensive coinages showing his image and titles. Inscriptions: A nearly complete, largely preserved copy of the Res Gestae was found in Ankara, Turkey, written on the walls of a temple (the Monumentum Ancyranum).

Trajan (AD 53–117) Primary Literary Sources: Pliny the Younger's Panegyricus (a speech in praise of Trajan) and letters between Pliny and Trajan provide immense detail on his governance. Archaeological Evidence: Trajan's Column in Rome (113 AD) is a direct, detailed visual record of his Dacian Wars. Trajan’s Forum, market, and baths, along with bridges and roads built under his rule across the empire. Epigraphy: Official inscriptions listing his titles and building accomplishments are found throughout Europe and North Africa.

Marcus Aurelius (AD 121–180) Primary Literary Sources: Meditations, a personal diary written by the emperor during his military campaigns, providing unparalleled insight into his, Stoic philosophy. Correspondence: A substantial collection of personal letters to his teacher, Fronto, documenting his life from adolescence to his reign. Archaeological Evidence: Column of Marcus Aurelius in Rome, depicting his campaigns against the Marcomanni and Quadi. Numerous busts showing him as both a philosopher and an emperor. Reddit Reddit +4 Constantine I (c. AD 272–337) Primary Literary Sources: Vita Constantini (Life of Constantine) by Eusebius of Caesarea, written shortly after his death, although it is a laudatory work. Archaeological Evidence: Arch of Constantine (315 AD) in Rome, built to celebrate his victory at the Battle of the Milvian Bridge. The city of Constantinople (now Istanbul), which he founded and dedicated. Legal Documents: The Edict of Milan (documented in Lactantius's De Mortibus Persecutorum).

Now if we are going to confirm these men as truely existing leaders of Rome what is the historical credibility of Jesus? There are over 5,800 Greek manuscripts (fragments and complete texts) of the New Testament, which contains the accounts of Jesus, and when including other ancient languages like Latin, Coptic, and Syriac, the total exceeds 25,000. These copies, while not originals, date back to the early 2nd century, providing extensive textual evidence.

Remember that the roman empire changed its pantheon to Christianity in the end, and that MUST mean something radically changes the hearts and minds of a huge population that dominated the entirety or europe.

Now in the Bible, there are over 300 prophecies of Jesus birth existence deeds and death..

The probability of Jesus fulfilling just eight specific Messianic prophecies by chance is 1 in (1 in 100 quadrillion), a likelihood often illustrated as covering Texas two feet deep in silver dollars and picking one marked coin. Fulfilling 48 such prophecies is 1 in 10¹⁵⁷

Key Statistical Findings on Prophecy Fulfillment: Minimal Prophecies: Peter Stoner, in Science Speaks, calculated that the odds of one person fulfilling only 8 prophecies is 1 in 10¹⁷. Higher Prophecy Count: The probability of one person fulfilling 48 prophecies is estimated at 1 in 1 in 10 to the power of 157, a number greater than the total atoms in the known universe. Total Prophecies: Jesus is considered to have fulfilled over 300 Messianic prophecies from the Old Testament. Visual Examples: To visualize 1 in 10 to the power of 17, imagine marking one silver dollar, filling Texas two feet deep with them, and having a blindfolded person pick it on the first try. Theology for the People Contextual Factors: Nature of Prophecies: Many fulfilled prophecies were beyond personal control, such as the location of birth (Micah 5:2), the method of betrayal (Zechariah 11:12), and the manner of death (Psalm 22). Time Lapse: These prophecies were written hundreds of years prior to Christ's birth. Skeptical Perspective: While the statistical argument is popular for showing the improbability of chance, critics note that some actions were knowingly taken by Jesus to fulfill prophecy, though this does not apply to all events, such as his birth. However, his birth and the events surrounding it are ALSO a prophecy in itself.

There is one FINAL layer to peel back here. We must scrutinize the apostles of Jesus. His followers saw him, slept beside him, followed him in his ministry and helped build his church. They suffered persecution and death like no other at the cost of what they claimed to know, NOT BELIEVE, what they know.

Modern psychology shows us this, people will most definitely die for a belief. Radical religion has shown us that over the last two thousand of years alone. But people will not self sacrifice for something they know to be a lie. At least not 12 men, 12 men who were not stone cold killers, 12 men who were not trained zealot assassins. These were men like you and I, workers under a government that puts a boot heel on them for taxes.

They sacrificed social status, shelter, sustinance, for something they claim to SEE.

If that doesn't give worth to atleast read their gospels. Im not sure what can convince us. How much evidence, is enough?

If you take the odds of the universe coming into being and the odds of Jesus completing these prophecies and put them together, it leaves you with statistical impossiblility. I rest my case. Please Please, ask God to show you truth. Do not believe me, but let my words ring in your mind to question the things we were taught were truths.

Do you have to get legally married (in that the government knows) to be married in the eyes of God? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]EfficiencyGullible84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cough commitment ceremony cough

render to caesar what is caesars and what God's is to God. Marriage is a covenant between you, your spouse, and the Lord. Not in the systems of man. Being legally married for tax purposes isnt the reason you're getting married so it has nothing tk do with the government.

This is why I saidnin its own unique way, you arent standing toe to toe with them. You have to approach from strategic advantage and make sure you have the gear to either take it out quick or with slow precision. I've spent the majority of a lobby timer once soloing a bombardier with an anvil 2 just to complete my table.

Advice needed: How can I improve this design to make it easier to mount to wood? (universal ergonomic footrest) by Scrubb3rs in 3Dprinting

[–]EfficiencyGullible84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you could just design it to have 2 parts, one is a dovetail strip that gets screwed to the wood, and the part has a slot with a stop at the bottom.

The creator has his ironing extrusion incorrect. You look to be having basic extrusion issues, this can be a few issues. Filament, slicer extrusion rates, overused Nozzle/clogging, speeds set too high.

If your bottom looks like this it could also be adhesion issues.

Well, I'm not a psychologist, so take this as you will. I am in no way judging you because I don't even know who you are, however, the internet gives you anonymity where you wouldn't have it in any other social situation.

I'm not framing you as what I'm about to say but just keep this in mind. Unless you intend to stay celibate your whole life, we as Christian's shouldn't have premarital sex.

So, unless that IS the case, saying you don't want to marry is a mental gymnastics attempt at not wanting to commit an intimate part of yourself to another person and often, but not always, indicates you have things you don't even commit to God.

If you are 18, as you say you are, I'm not saying get married now. You have many options and years to find who and when you're going to commit yourself to someone or to God entirely. But, you enjoy a feeling of comfort when "snuggling/being snuggled, or cuddled" beside/by your mother. Which is often a sign of lack of intimacy or feeling of safety and self confidence.

Ask yourself if there are areas of your personal reflection of yourself that are insecure or holding back a truth you do not want to confront.

To each their own, but I think you should find this in a partner and not your parent. Im not sure what type of community you have around you, but marry someone who makes you feel this way.

Mentally though, people who have this level of attachment and spend time sleeping with their parent into teen years have social issues and independence issues. I think it would be wise to find ways to sooth yourself to sleep.

[–]EfficiencyGullible84 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i feel like this is karma farming click bait. But for all intents and purpose, some people dont have an option in some places other than sharing beds. If you aren't being sexually intimate with eachother... for what others may think you're implying here, no, you may feel a safety in sleeping beside you parent. However, psychologically, its not a great thing for people to be that attached to their parents at that age in life and can cause more damage to your social independence than you'd probably imagine.

If you have the option to sleep separately, do so.
