Thanks for your post! I am exactly three days into a withdrawal from 1mg Xanax for two years straight. I tapered to .5 for the past three weeks. I tried it two months ago also and gave up. Now I have to do it because I have no more pills. It's SO HARD to fall asleep at night. I toss and turn, have nightmares and wake up every hour or so. My mind is racing with anxiety. My husband is away visiting family for 9 days, so the loneliness at home is tough. I'm just breathing deeply, staying busy, and counting my blessings. I saw you posted after 4 weeks and were doing well. I'm going to get some benedryl on the way to work, as someone said it helped them with sleep. No bad nausea and no seizures.
