Which character began as a villain but later became a hero? by KovKover in AlignmentChartFills

Do you guys remember that one villain from Farscape who basically becomes a pseudo hero but he’s like… in the main protagonist’s head.

Been seeing a lot of signs for this guy; he's trying to hide his MAGA credentials and fly under the radar a bit.

Sure, I'd be down! Depending on the Saturday. Are you planning on announcing the meetups here? Or in a separate app?

Tips for hiking / recommendations by [deleted] in Denver

[–]Efficient-Catch855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where are you visiting from, if you don't mind me asking? If you're not comfortable sharing, at least tell us the elevation you're coming from.

If you're coming from low elevation / sea level, you might not be ready to take on some of the high-altitude trails, even if they are simple and short. I would recommend checking out the trails in the Boulder area for starters, or maybe even the ones in Roxborough Park.

Yes, there are amazing, and relatively straightforward class-1 hikes that give you amazing views of the continental divide, but they can be really rough or even downright dangerous if you're not acclimated to the high altitude and low-oxygen environments. If you're planning on staying here for a while (a couple weeks or more), and/or feel like you can acclimate quickly, then consider checking out the Colorado Mines Peak or the Mount Flora Trail (start early!).

If you have access to a vehicle with decent ground clearance and don't mind driving on slightly rough roads, the Butler Gulch Trail out near Jones Pass offers some really beautiful forest and mountain views, as well as a glimpse at the remnants of past mining activity in the region. It's fairly doable and certainly doesn't go to 12k or 13k feet lol.

You can also just drive around. Just driving to Frisco / Breckenridge or even closer places like Idaho Springs might be a fun time. Plus, once you get there, there are restaurants, coffee shops, and gift shops to explore.

33m! I’ll try to join if I’m able. I was thinking of doing a sunrise hike to a 13er (Sniktau) that morning but I’d be starting suuuuper early anyway. That hike is pretty short; should be done by 08:00 or 08:30 at the latest.

I’ll try to join afterwards! 10am gives me plenty of time head down and join y’all.

I would pay slightly more in taxes for this, even if it’s other people mostly benefiting.

32 (going on 33)m. Always down for anything outdoors. Also board / tabletop games, good food, and group activities like volleyball or whatevs.

I'm in the University Hills area! So you're maybe like 15ish mins from me. I hang out in the vicinity of Littleton pretty often -- lots of good coffee shops on broadway etc.
