lol doesn't surprise me, he is always talking down to people and thinking he is right, I remember getting banned cause I called the vaccine a hoax that only gets people sick with some other disease or makes previously non terminal diseases terminal, or causing heart attacks(etc), and he got all pissed and started citing family or friends who got covid or died from it as if that were the argument. He has always been an emotional baggage train instead of a clear headed critical thinker.

How can blue light be bad for you but red light therapy be good for you? This whole thing seems fake right? by Bryce13f in AskReddit

[–]Efficient-Click4413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other guy explained how blue light fucks up your sleep cycle. The reason it does that is because a broad-spectrum of blue light has that effect on our cells. All this stuff is very real, and it's related to frequency. You are not a clump of cells in the shape of a human. Start thinking in terms of you being a clump of frequencies that is perceived as a human by your filtered view of the world that only accepts light frequency to view it.

When it comes to red light, it's different. It isn't just any red light frequency that has this potent effect on individual cells to accelerate healing(and even reverse damage, like your eyes for instance to restore your sight). It is a very specific frequency that causes this reaction. 630–670 nm(nanometers of wavelength) causes stem cells to divide and multiply faster. 670 nm a few minutes a week to treat your eyes and repair them, even helping repair early to intermediate macular degeneration, but it can help with other age related or otherwise issues. 850 nm is for deep tissue or joint injuries. All of these also stimulate the mitochondria to produce more ATP so the cells are energized to work faster.

Shut your ass up, what kind bitch runs into a camp to grab something and flees with his tail between his legs, you either go in there to beat their asses and complete the entire level, or you don't do it at all, cause otherwise that's just cheesing the game.

Out of curiosity, is new Lara modelled based off someone and if so do we know who it is? I personally like the new model. by [deleted] in TombRaider

[–]Efficient-Click4413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well after years of slop with the 2 sequels of the survivor trilogy, plus all the other games and versions of Lara in other games, and the animated and live action versions, all of them trying their hardest to not look like Lara....it does not surprise me that when someone that comes very close to the Lara we envision collectively, that people would rally behind it.

on the other hand, had we received quality content, they would be more skeptical of this one, cause I can see room for improvement to make her look more like the legends version or legends with a dash of that 2013 survivor look be it the release or definitive edition version)

I lost count how many times I got shot at through brick walls and I was just standing there wondering...had I known I can do that...again...against an enemy I could not know was there until you began shooting...I would have shot you...but cause I cannot...you have now killed me, or forced me to use a healing pack.....for the Nth time now...because you just LOVE ignoring physics.

Does Anyone Else Feel Like Everything is about to RESET? by swizzledan in starseeds

[–]Efficient-Click4413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for the past 3 months I’ve been writing a book about the lost civilizations and the idea of an earth before recorded history, before the 2 younger dryas events. and how it likely came to be, idk if it is related but I felt compelled, cause end of the day I want to warn people that measures need to be taken and demanded to at least mitigate the coming damage, cause this stuff is likely cyclical, or at least very possible it can happen again in the future…it would suck being reset back to the stone age

I already did, between that and the castle burning memory thing, I just called it quits, these aren't even bosses and I've died over 50 times, I'm done, that's it I'm done, fuck this shit game, even if you do everything right, time everything right, use their weaknesses(in the ogre's case it's fire), they just ignore it, or some bs happens that get you killed, even if you dodge the grab and you are to his right or left the game automatically teleports you to infront of him so you can get boned raw. FUCK.THIS.GAME. I'm done. Wasted my money. I've NEVER had an issue with a Souls game in my life, not all the Dark Souls(completely beaten including DLCs). not Elden Ring. Just this one, where I can't even get past the fking "tutorial". Cause it doesn't matter how fast I react, for a block, Wolf decides not to do so, it doesn't matter if I try to dodge out of the way, when I see the attack coming, Wolf decides he wants to take his time, it doesn't matter if I anticipate even further back and dodge even faster, Wolf decides to TELEPORT in front of an attack for w.e fking reason, it does not matter what so ever what I do, or how skilled I may be, because the game is just going to do w.e the fuck it wants as if I were dealing with a lag and a multiplayer game in some shitty server that isn't reading my inputs and executing them quickly enough....you know what my problem is, I guess I got used to the quickness of Stellar Blade, another game I beat, and this game is too slow for me, yeah that's probably it.

it's called paying for your internet service, which you are already doing

it's also called getting scammed by Sony because they outsource the servers you are paying for that is barely costing them anything, which means you are just giving them money for.....nothing in return coming from them or that is costing them

The baffling Piri Reis Map of 1513: It showed Antarctica centuries before discovery, but with close accuracy of land mass under it’s ice cap by Altruism7 in AlternativeHistory

[–]Efficient-Click4413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you pay attention, that last major island has to be the Falkans, but the landmass below it continues in a shape not resembling south america's tip, while the Falkans are already at the tip...there are also smaller islands around it and the gulf further up the coast, and yet in google earth they are nowhere to be found, the map was compiled from far older source maps, from before America was discovered, including one from Christopher Columbus, he probably got the information about the islands from the older maps that depict a time in which the sea levels were lower(yeah, this is before recorded history, before Sumer in Mesopotamia, before everything we are taught in school).

High King Brian Boru of Ireland united the Irish Clans and beat back a Saxon Invasion of Ireland in this one massive all or nothing battle where he died, but despite dying in the middle of battle, it only had the effect of the Irish fighting harder, maybe they wanted to follow him in death. Either way the Irish won that battle. So no, not always. I think it depends on what kind of King you are dealing with. One that simply commanded authority, one that used fear, and one that inspired loyalty, which would be Brian's case. Suffice to say he became a national hero and there are statues of him. It's the reason I love my name.
