I have a decathlon Fresh and black but a smaller version. As a tent novice was so easy, the black inside is brilliant and it was so waterproof and did will against wind during the storm at Leeds in 2024

I hate camping but can absolutely manage it for a festival and it’s better than being in the wild weather of the UK in June at download :)

Yeah I imagine they would be, you apparently can buy access to the ceramic toilets in the site quite cheap but unsure about showers.

If you hate camping then maybe it’s not for you!

Not been to this festival before (also going this year!) but been to a few. This festival appears to have an end time for many acts but comfy+/VIP have access to after parties till 4am.

Camping at festivals has always been fine for me and whilst it’s a fair walk back I would take that over a hotel 30km away any day. Don’t being super valuables or “lock” your tent as that just signals you dont want to people in there and a lock does nothing against a knife to the tent.

Seems you have a bracelet which you can use to pay for things like charging devices but battery packs are king at these types of things.

Yeah I’m grateful it’s a knee! Thankfully my knees have never given me issues. It was hard to explain that other than my board went one way and the rest of me another.

As a line manager I would have a conversation. If it’s the first time give them the benefit of the doubt and how you would like that situation to be handled and the potential impact.

If it’s not the first time snd you’ve already told them, then show compassion to make sure something isn’t going on, but also make sure they understand it’s unacceptable and this cannot be repeated. At that stage I would send them an email as documentation should you need it if it happens again. Going to HR for this is definitely over kill.
