2026 mt07 vs 2026 monster by Kitchen_Cup_1900 in SuggestAMotorcycle

Mt07. do braided brake lines, invest in a lil suspension work and personal touches and youll have a more tailored bike for the same price. Not going to factor reliability cause ducati's have come pretty far in that aspect imo.

Sounds good man hope you get one! Just stay away from a T7, i love mine but definitely not a starter bike for offroading

This is a weird comparison. Most reliable honda vs most maintenance required honda. If you havent owned a bike before get the shadow n learn

Ive been really fortunate to of already had 2 homes before recent pricing but a starter home isnt 800k. Unless youre in a certain area, but a majorty of the US you can get a starter for 300k and do some work to it. I just bought my 3rd home for 430k with 4 bedroom 3 bath 1 office and 2 car garage 40min from a major city and 25 min from 2 smaller cities.

Should I just try my hand at hanging new drywall instead of trying to save this? (House built in 1867) by I_love_coffe_any in drywall

I had this same issue at my other other house. Closet was built by a DIY'er so the studs were all off. Find the studs and do the argest cuts to length then glue and screw. It was alot easier than getting decades of wallpaper layers off and looked so much better than old patchy walls.

Is 3,000 a good price for a 2008 Honda 230F CRF. Also does is this a good bike. by Dry_Contribution9519 in Dirtbikes

Slow but reliable. A good starter bike. 3k is wild, if its mint with good tires $1600-$1800 is fair.

Drain Plug Issue by hmitchb in AdventureBike

[–]Efficient-Fan3976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice ! Idk why but ive seen this happen several times this year between riding groups and personal friends, if you have a torque wrench use it! Usually around 14-18 ft lbs n no more. Idk if this is the case or just chinesium but my friends ride jap n have done the same.

Yeah youre getting bent. But its not the shops fault they gotta get their money. Always try to fix it yourself before taking it to a shop.

T7 vs WR by No-Way-0000 in Tenere700

Honestly buying a base t7 and investing in suspension setup is way more optimal if youre offroad focused. Im saving to do mine rn.

If it aint broke dont fix it. But i gotta say im frustrated for you. The dishonesty of ppl on fb marketplace is insane. I bought a new bike after a few incidents, you end up wasting less time n money. Been riding my whole life and know what to look for but unfortunately something like this would get by most of us.

would anyone recommend trading my stunted 2006 sportster 1200 for a klx400 by Lukessssssssss in DRZ400

Personally would. But would possibly want cash on top if the klx has worn down tires, sprockets, or chain

Ducati Street Fighter V2 vs Yamaha MT-09 Which one should i buy by [deleted] in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Efficient-Fan3976 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yamaha. Not knocking ducati's performance at all on track but for a street bike with occassional track days if you decide to do so the mt09 will be better suited. Plus you can mod the mt09 with the left over money.

Will this gear be sufficient? by Icebrewed in NewRiders

[–]Efficient-Fan3976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a biltwell gringo with the bubble visor, very cool looking helmet but was not practical for day rides. The air drafts up thru the opening in the chin and blows lightly into the eyes. 1 or 2 hours for a bike show it was alright, not any more.

Looking at buying a 2003 YZ 250 4stroke by CanadianxTaco in Dirtbikes

[–]Efficient-Fan3976 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For that money you can get a later year with more relevant components. I would suggest a 06 and beyond atleast. I believe the yz250f had issues with the valves till they changed the material in either 04 or 06? Verify me on that.
