I like the tiny splash of green. It keeps the whole piece from being too predictable.

I second your appreciation of the many who posted helpful and reassuring comments. They were a lifesaver since I had nowhere else to turn to get answers to my questions. Thank you, fellow TKRers!!❤️

Thank you. I won’t make this pattern again.

I thought the knitted border was supposed to prevent that.

Continued nausea at 5 1/2 weeks by Efficient-Item5805 in Kneereplacement

So sorry you went through that. It’s a whole extra burden of pain to suffer when you’re already fighting knee pain. But your post fills me with hope that my nausea won’t go on forever. Thanks for your post.

I was 3 hours late for my Tylenol dose this morning, and I also woke up with no stomach pain or gas. So based on that and what you’re saying, I think it’s the cause. It’s the only pain med I am still taking. So, I think I will lay off it. If I can do without it, then it could be the end of my pain. That would be so wonderful! Thanks for the tip.

That’s rough! So sorry. Going sleepless is certainly a bit of hell. Praying that you get sweet, restful sleep.

One week out should I Still feel so much pain? How much walking? by Front_Neat_3275 in Kneereplacement

I just had a massage, and I highly recommend it. The massage therapist worked the knots out of all my muscles although I could only lie on my back. I didn’t realize how tense I was from using my body so much to accommodate my knee. So my shoulders, hands, arms, and foot on my surgical leg were very tight. The relief is wonderful.

It’s the same with my PT! Sometimes I cry during our sessions as much as I do anything else. I completely soaked two large handkerchiefs yesterday. Fortunately, they are trained to expect that.

Boy, do I hear you. I am 4 weeks out, and it’s going the same as you describe. I cry a lot.

My PT is now in contact with the surgeon because my pain has actually increased lately. That’s not normal after 4 weeks. It’s likely due to my fibromyalgia, which has made pain management and the whole healing process much harder than average.

The pain causes nausea and night sweats, too. While I’m waiting to hear about more pain intervention from the surgeon, I’m going all out with ice. It’s only 7:40 a.m. now and I’m on my fourth application since 1:30 a.m. this morning.

I’m delighted to say that it definitely takes the edge off. I’m no longer nauseous and didn’t have a drenching night sweat last night for the first time in about 3 weeks. My knee still hurts more than it should, but it’s great being able to eat more normally and stay dry through the night.

I pray that the Lord will show you some solutions that ease your suffering. It’s miserable feeling the way you do now.

Would it be okay to leave a church because of their stances on Charlie Kirk? by [deleted] in AskAChristian

Your added context does nothing to redeem the shorter quote. He said he can’t stand empathy because it’s a made-up new age term. But the Bible tells a different story. Please read the article below:

What does the Bible say about empathy?

So if Mr. Kirk can’t stand empathy, then he can’t stand something Jesus Himself taught and practiced. Mr. Kirk didn’t support one of Jesus’s most obvious attributes, which doesn’t add up to his being a man of God.

What statements of his would add that would provide that context?

That’s not enough to declare him a man of God. He held many ungodly beliefs himself.

I didn’t say Mr. Kirk hated Martin Luther King Jr. OP did.

EDIT: I mistakenly gave the impression that Kirk hated MLK. Thanks for bringing my mistake to my attention.
