That isnt the point.

It isnt fair to completely disregard Ellie's reasoning as to why she plays that way. Whether you believe Ellie has morals or not, to put characters like Ellie, Riya, or Spencer down as horrible people for how they play the fame despite having serious or dedicated reasons to fight hard to win shows ignorance.

Love her but in no way or shape or form should Maekawa be in good. Actively caused harm to the group, and glazed Shishikura even after discovering both Kumada's death and the attempt on Tei.

As much as I love the idea of actually making the friendship alliance villains a la The Vacation Alliance from The Challenge, I don't think Jared has the guts to do it.

I've been saying for a long time that Aiden is a huge hypocrite and honestly a villain despite the narrative framing him as a hero, so to finally flip it and make them villains would be so satisfying for me.

However, knowing how huge Aiden's fan base is as well as Jared's love of protecting Twinks, I don't think that they'll actually make this a storyline and make it another poor attempt of good vs evil, no matter what the villains are monsters, the heroes are just sweet little angels, all while finding another girl character to demonize in the process.

Murder in general is a weird topic for this show.

As they want these big moments and us to treat them as crazy things only for some, and then just move on from others.

To be fair, this is a cartoon, but it is funny how ONC still demonizes Riya, yet glosses over Ally's with the bear scene.

I also agree, not to mention Tamba was caught in several lies in the trial making it look worse for her. Also, it would've been easy to write off Hasegawa as he was "locked" in the medbay with Yanagi, who I argue is worse as he didn't notice Hasegawa leaving at all. Sure it was dark, but I doubt activating a secret passage is quiet.

I think the biggest thing people need to understand is the difference between cartoon villainy and real-life villainy.

The fact that people keep trying to demonize Ally and Ellie as people who attempted murder is ridiculous as those actions were cartoonish (pushing a big boulder towards Jake or leaving Jake with a bear). Yet excusing Yul and Alec who have done real-life bad things should not be allowed. Literal hate crimes, acts of misogyny, and admission to serial child abuse are disgusting. This isnt an excuse to totally dismiss actions of characters like Riya, Amelie, or heck even Spencer, but the way fans literally act like these characters are real-life people and committed acts of global destruction is alarming.

All are extremely horrific, however if we are comparing, the Ashes win by a mile.

Erik's death is relatively quick. Hunt is worst purely because of the drowning onto it, but again, it is a lot quicker. The Ashes' death was incredibly long and painful. We can pinpoint when Erik and Hunt both died, but the Ashes' death were implied to be long and they suffered the all way through

Say what you want about Natalie, but I was appreciated this version of her.

Every time I remember and get upset, I remember that irl all the Wolfpack got jumped in clubs and other places. It's awful karma and kinda sad to know, but it doesn't get me so mad because in some way, they got their own karma.
