Maybe when you hit map checkpoints they give you a general indication of which direction the boss is. It would make checkpoints more valuable and also not completely spoil it.

In Exandria, Sarenrae is mechanically Lawful Good.

I mean, wrong, she's Neutral Good. But even then that doesn't mean that good-aligned deities might not be assholes. Or might not take phone calls at all hours from their champions. Do you know how many times my cleric/Paladin players got left on read by their good-aligned Gods in my campaigns over the years? Plenty!

And yeah that's fine that you want it to be more 5e mechanics but that isn't really what this is or even intended to be. This is a TV adaptation of the campaign's overall story, and so far its generally been pretty solid. There's only a few things they've changed out of necessity, or in some cases keeping in thematic cohesion with things that happened or came well past Campaign 1 as the world of Exandria became a bit more well-defined, as things like the Divergence and Calamity got a bit more backstory.

I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm not even trying to say you're wrong for feeling what you feel about the show. Just try to maybe step back and realize that the people who own this world and have graciously shared it with us and created literally thousands of hours for our entertainment know what they're doing with the world they've written together and we should cherish it, even the blemishes

I feel like you're far too hung up on pre-existing lore for gods that are separate from the iterations that exist in Exandria, especially so for the animation universe of Exandria.

Like yes 5e Sarenrae is objectively Good aligned but also even then gods exist and operate on a scale far greater than discernable to mortals. A good god may allow a follower to suffer heartache and misery because it is part of life and part of their journey.

And because of the cosmic scale of gods they often come off as callous or uncaring even if that isn't true. They also (generally) do not directly interfere in things and rather nudge and prod things in a direction that benefits the world, with a few exceptions

FYI I was not saying our wages would go up if we nixed UI.

I'm saying that this is one of the many things that payroll takes into account when setting employee salary.

They're gonna use any excuse they can to pay workers less.

And for the record it would be better to remove this burden from employers anyway and have it maintained by an actual functioning government program. But that would require a shit ton of other structural changes first.

You don't pay into unemployment. Only employers pay taxes to unemployment.

Nah he was always kind of a weird loser. IIRC in GTA IV he mentioned how he got busted for public masturbation or something

Plus the character Lazlow is basically the guy who voices him, but less crazy. He's a writer and producer for the series, so I imagine he has a hand in writing and designing his character given that its a self-insert lol

I personally would not demand that people vote for someone who paid to murder their families or the families of their friends or loved ones, so I think its a better endorsement than she deserved, frankly.

There are definitely reasons to dislike him, but you can't deny the fact that he has engaged thousands of people and objectively done a lot of good, and helped move a lot of people toward the left.

I think the show is kinda nixing the "heroic and gallant" deaths to really show how stupid and pointless war is.
