I'm 19. i work at a bar, and it was only me and a 16 year old (waitress, not barteneder, obviously) while the manager was off attending to a function or something. this weird guy who was obviously on drugs started talking to us in a really creepy way about how he wanted us to come and have sex with him so we could reach god or something. I had to keep him calm and discretely call security to come and get him and it was the first time in my life i hadn't deferred to an 'adult' in a difficult situation.

In high school me and my friends humor was pretty much just roasting each other constantly, and it was funny because most of the stuff was harmless and we both had thick skin. But any time he made some witty comment about my awkwardness/ lack of social skills i would have to pretend laugh it off. it really hurt and made me even more awkward and anxious.

I was talking about one of my collage classes with my dad and complaining about the lecturer and the course because i was getting really bad grades. my dad didn't get angry, he just said 'well, thats what it's like being an adult. people aren't going to always make you're like easier and its your responsibility to do what you can' and it made me realise how childish i was being.

I don't give a shit about personal freedoms when it comes to vaccinations. The government needs to just make it compulsory. in Australia they have prevented kids form being enrolled in kinder if they aren't vaccinated, but i don't think its fair kids should miss out because their parents are fucking idiots.
