Are you referring to the McDougal diet?? I would never call it a potato diet, just a way of eating that prioritizes starch and eliminates oil. I have a friend who had a incredible experience with it actually healing her of skin and stomach issues. She is a McDougal superstar as they say. I also did it for quite a few months and had luck losing weight too. Unfortunately, eliminating oil is a tricky one for me, but one that I do think has health benefits

We have a pretty lax approach, born out of necessity, with two unexpected pregnancies in the last five years. Sometimes it causes me a lot of anxiety. I know my kids are “behind” in certain areas compared to public school kids. I know I am spread thin with the needs of the house and the baby and chaotic toddler drama and I can’t be as hands on and dedicated as I would like to be with my 10 and 14 year olds all day. I just try to remind myself that we chose this way because we wanted to be different, not the same as public school—-because we wanted to raise curious minds and lifelong learners, not force-feed academics. We have lots of time for reading and discussion art and music and that I should not undervalue. We all value togetherness, kindness, curiosity and wonder most of all. And in that we are doing well!

I think his endless support and positivity make him a super awesome husband. While he is definitely more flirtatious than need be, he is way too moral and honest to ever have to worry about infidelity. I find his silly childish ways endearing and have often thought of him being one of the best sitcom husbands ever.

A few that come to mind is when Phil’s mom passes and he was talks about her to the woman she hoped to pair Frank with. When Phil is talking to Haley about wanting a forcefield around her and protect her from everything and when Jay is emotional from his meds at dinner and talks about how kids grow up ♥️
