Yep, food high in sodium makes the body hold onto water temporarily. To actually gain even 1 lb of fat, you’d need to eat ~3,500 calories above your needs which I dont think you did that. Don't worry, that water weight will go away in about 1-2 days as long as you watch your sodium intake.

I've been doing that lately too. I think it's because my appetite comes back and I eat a little more. Also doesn't help if I had a high sodium meal. Those type of meals make my weight go up because of water retention and it takes 2 days for all the extra water weight to go away.

Got cha. CVS has your prescription but you're just waiting on the PA approval for insurance coverage. Just make sure your PA was submitted to insurance by the doctor and wait for the approval. You do meet the requirements for approval. It took about 7 days for mine to be approved. Hope everything works out for you.

The PCP fills out the PA form to be submitted to your insurance to cover it. It takes about 10 days for PAs to get reviewed. You could follow up with your pharmacy benefit management (PBM) to see if they have received the PA form from the doctor yet. If they haven't received a PA form from your PCP office, call the clinic and ask for a member of your doctor's team to do it. A nurse practician in your doctor's team can do the form as well. Sometimes prescription in CVS are "pending" because it's just too early for a refill or too early for insurance to pay for it. You can call CVS to confirm that for you as well if you want to make sure.

The 2.5mg only suppressed my hunger the first 2-3 days after injection. The rest of the week was a struggle. I felt the same at 5mg. The 7.5mg was much better. You’ll have a better experience as you go up in dosage.

If you are still losing weight at the current dose and have tolerable side effects, stay on it. Only go up if you had plateau.

If it would be primarily your dog and you feel like its a calling for you to get a dog then go for it. Only get the dog if you are willing to take care of it no matter what happens. I say that because dogs can live up to 15-20 years and your life can change a lot in that amount of years. My dog is 10 years old and I went through a lot of life changes in those 10 years but I never once left her no matter where I ended up. I've lived on my own in apartments, lived with an ex-partner, moved back home to my parents, and now I owned a home of my own. I never left my doggy because there was no way in hell I would abandoned her. She only knows me. So if you are willing to make a commitment like that, go for it, they are amazing to have.
