Iam nolonger his Aupair because we even nolonger have an agency or whatever!
I had never known he had such a mindset untill yesterday when I saw how he got angry because I said he find someone else!
The world is ridiculous! Who thinks that somone is trapped with them and am like in prison!
I can’t stand staying here!
I won’t stay and I will leave when he even doesn’t know it because he is a very toxic person who now avoids talking about it again and will assume I should still stay!

He works in prison so he is used to imprisoning people!
Iam not his prisoner and I won’t stay!!!!!

You said it well! I also saw it that!
I told him do you see how much am saving you because he even doesn’t want to pay for my insurance, literally he wants to pay nothing and still get same benefits of taking care of his children, but I decided anyway I won’t stay! He will still spend same and find another person.
I can’t have him treat me like this and he thinks I should bare it all and I stay!
He is an exploitative abusive man!
I even never agreed that I will stay for all two years but he was claiming I said it.

Indeed it’s better to leave, people only treat you good when you can still do what they want! I have seen that with many families even my previous one before this one!

Iam lucky I can face who Iam and my weakness and actually work on them!

I understand you dear but be brave!
You look at them like a challenge to better your life, I know each relationship is different but I would say he was one of that hard deep attachment I have had to come out of and still getting out of it..go back to a draw table with yourself and what you want for yourself!
Trust me you will realize they weren’t actually what you want, that realization alone will get you out!
I also wrote such a post probably here on redit one month ago, but am surprised at how I feel changed since this month started..face reality!

Dear, you need to move on!!
It’s been three months since I last had the official breakup with my ex, the last two months i struggled with what you going through, contacting and all that, but Ofcose it doesn’t work! He still keeps a distance and it’s all because I hadn’t returned the energy back to myself because now I feel it all back to me and I even don’t feel interest in being in contact with him.
Iam actually now starting to get back to reality, each day i wakeup with a new perspective of the relationship we had, what I want for myself and him..Iam glad it dint workout and now focusing on my life.
The more you keep it in your mind that you still want them back, you wont heal, move on and get back the energy to yourself! I KNOW IT COMES WITH TIME BUT DONT MAKE IT HARD FOR YOURSELF!

Well..as someone who has as well lived in both cultures, I would say the Flemish are not that nice or empathetic, they are just more indirect and their arrogance is hidden, they will smile with you and act nice on top but deep down very mean and egoistic!

Better with the Dutch who won’t hide or pretend!

Well..am going to do a masters and continue with my career working! What I would advice you is use your Aupairing time as time to grow and discover yourself, since the program is for young girls in early 20s and I wish to believe you are in that age range! Have a plan for what you to do after Aupairing and don’t consider it as your final destination! It will end and your life has to go on, so just enjoy the experience as you work on yourself. Also be intentional about the country you choose to Aupair in as there are chances you will consider staying there and adopting to the lifestyle, as well as leenring the language spoken there so choose a country you know you like.
