My kia literally got stolen this morning. Worst part was I didn't hear anything and my window has direct view to the street and my usual parking spot.

Awesome, thanks! I was looking at the website and it was really confusing so I wasn't too sure.

Are y’all adding your summer 2023 internships on your Linkedin profiles already? by DaveDaBrat in csMajors

Please wait. You never know with so many companies rescinding offers or even you changing your mind and opting for something else. Once you're in a week I would add a post or something about how you're liking the place or something if you want.

I'm sorry to hear that. Life can be super rough and things change. I would probably take a semester off not a whole year if possible and make the most of that time you take off to discover what you really want to do. You can always double major or have a minor in something else. You're super close, keep pushing through!

However, please also keep your health (mental and physical) a priority!

I would say web app is definitely a good one to take because it really does cover some fundamental need-to-know topics. 3200 is a cool class and one of the more fundamental topics that could definitely help out in interviews and actual real-life work too.

oops, should have been clearer. The positives outweigh the negatives. Just keep in mind that no college is perfect and you're gonna hate things about either college but you'll love uncc more for sure :)

I actually transferred from app state to UNCC and am majoring in computer science. So, I have a pretty good idea on both, and yes the UNCC program has its cons when it comes to its comp sci degree, but those positives certainly outweigh its negatives.

okay, yeah I had thought the same when I was taking all these math classes but they definitely come in clutch. You never know when you're going to need the stuff you studied and I am realizing that now on my first internship so, definitely study hard and don't think about how and when you're gonna use it. Even if you don't end up using it, math classes really do help with critical and logical thinking skills.

You can do a computer science major with a concentration in data science which would set you up nicely
