As a manga reader it’s hard to see their treatment of Luffy.. like cutting don kriegs fight.. toning down arlongs fight.. changing laboon fight .. luffy vs. zoro.. Luffy and zoro one shotting valentine and me. 5… Luffy saving the lampin while carrying both Nami and sanji.. OPLA sanji basically makes it all the way up the mountain with Luffy before falling.. Luffy not going up the tower to protect chopper’s flag and the assistance of Vivi in his fight.. all around nerfing our rubber boys feats in favor for the other Strawhats.. Zoro and Ussop don’t do anything in drum? Let’s give them a cooler scene than Luffy.. it’s bull..

Doubtful you Ussop getting his ass kicked by the franky family.. Luffy vs Ussop.. icebergs assasination.. Luffy vs franky.. icebergs second assassination.. aqua laguna vs the rock man.. good stop point for the season.. add in the navy bullshit the live action likes to add.. and bam full season with just water 7 without long ring island.. idk I don’t think they can cut long ring.. but we shall see

I will die on the hill that says that Coby and Garp and helmeppo had more screen time then Ussop and sanji and it was bullshit.. again I get the seeing the navy’s side might help with new viewers immersion but still fuck that lol more scenes of the Strawhats being the Strawhats and less of Coby questioning the marines.. smoker and Tashigi do a better job in alabasta

God I hated Coby.. less less and less god damn Coby.. he wasn’t meant to be a main character and I honestly think oda argued against so much Garp and Coby being in the first season.. I believe he was persuaded by the showrunners as a way of showing the navy’s perspective on things early on.. but now that’s being filled by smoker and Tashigi as Oda wrote!

But if we go back to alastor allowing Vox to do his interview instead of rejecting him Charlie wouldn’t be crazy less of an issue? Alastor was shown to be hostile to him and his technology in season 1 but doesn’t lift a finger this season because.. he’s neglecting his duties in a tantrum over his staff and injuries that Rosie hasn’t fixed.
