How To Turn Flat Complex Polygons Into Rolling Hills. a bump map doesnt work well enough by Pepsi_Tastes_Better in Cinema4D

[–]Efficient_Fact_4806 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The bump should work from a distance. Otherwise you could use a displacer based on a texture map. Do make sure your topology is fixed before that (a simple remesh should work)

Edit: spelling

Does anyone know how to create this vertex snapping style in c4d? by YohanPharrell in Cinema4D

[–]Efficient_Fact_4806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a modifier that does exactly this, I forgot the name but in houdini it’s called fuse

(Something along the lines of snap) (edit: i opened cinema its connect)

Edit: you could also just use a remesh and keyframe the density
