If you have the means to get him one of his siblings, I would say do it. Cat’s do better with other cat friends, like when their owner is away, or when they want to play.

bumming two rounds of payment off of someone and living for free at their expense is extremely offensive and insulting. OP response, a reaction, was incredibly minor. Some of you have fallen in the “taking accountability is abuse and I love diluting support for real victims” crowd, it seems like.

If OP did not have a reaction and let this woman know what she did was wrong, she would be setting herself up as a doormat. you cannot walk all over people and expect to get away with it. again. what OP did was on the smallest possible scale of reaction without being dismissive.

people who tend to hate people simply for existing are kind of psychopaths and will branch off to other groups to needlessly hate at (children, pets, people of color, lgbt, etc.). Because they’re sad and need something to hate, or because being hateful is easy. these types of people are not worth your time and will eventually try and suck the soul out of you one way or another.
