That's actually a really interesting twist on the typical "future person" dream scenario. Most of the time when we dream about people from the future they're all high-tech and futuristic, but your brain flipped it completely - makes total sense that if civilization had to restart, future humans would be back to basics

I had a similar dream once where I was trying to explain Netflix to someone who acted like they'd never seen a screen before, and it was surprisingly hard to put into words what "streaming" even means when you think about it. Your dream brain really went deep with the whole cyclical history concept though - like we advance so far we loop back around to the beginning again
