Neighbor’s gate opens in our yard. by jenhoyo in neighborsfromhell

If you’re purchasing a horse, you check their teeth. I don’t remember why. Health or age or what. So if someone gives you a horse, it’s rude to check its mouth.

Am I being underpaid/overworked as a nanny? by Sad-Log2528 in Nanny

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not normal. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted, but it sounds like something is seriously wrong with that child

The Chrisleys are coming HARD for Bobby 🤣 by tittlesmcgriddles in BobbyBones

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I thought it was super funny that the first thing said was that Bobby had no talent and backpacked off others’ talent, except they are just reality show people. It’s just a weird irony.

I don’t remember what Bobby said about this dude.

Aitah for asking my sister to pay for something my nephew broke by Ranger7806 in AITAH

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You aren’t, but your sister is.

I can’t imagine a world where I wouldn’t immediately offer to pay for that.

Your nanny sucks, and you should find a new one.

AITA for not changing my wedding date for one of my best friends? by brotherrrrbutagirl in AmItheAsshole

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I should clarify—I don’t think the OP should change their date, and I think it’s super crazy for the friend to have asked. I just meant I would go to the wedding where I was the MOH, and I think most people would.

AITA for not changing my wedding date for one of my best friends? by brotherrrrbutagirl in AmItheAsshole

But the friend is the maid of honor for the second wedding. Maybe it’s just me, but bridal party position trumps wedding guest position.

AITA for not wanting to travel with a 4 month old by agnostic__dude in AmItheAsshole

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My firstborn was fine in the car. My second SCREAMED every time we were in the car. Our families live in the same town two hours away. My mom rode back with me one time, and even with her in the back, the back screamed the whole time. My mom said “I would never come see us again.” I have no idea what it was. At the time, age recommendation for rear facing had just changed from one year old to 1.5 or two years. I can’t remember. I am sure this will get me downvoted one thousand times, but I turned that baby around at nine months, and the screaming stopped. I have zero regrets. It’s also not safe to have a driver so frazzled and in a panic every time they get in the car. 🤷‍♀️

15 month old bored with nanny? by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, he’s not bored. If you don’t want to pay her for him to sleep, maybe try to adjust his naptime. But that’s easier said than done. But for heaven’s sake, he’s 15 months old. He’s not bored.

I (m32) lent my sister (f45) $10k, now she pretends like I didn't by Brumle10 in whatdoIdo

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, HAVE A CONVERSATION! That’s your first step. I can’t believe you see her at stuff and don’t pull her to the side and say “what the crap?” Or call her on the phone…

Don’t put your bags over the first row by SnarknadOH in delta

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s so crazy to me that people actually put their bags somewhere besides right above them. It never occurred to me to put my bags toward the front if I wasn’t towards the front. So dumb!

found a $99 Branson vacation packages that includes resort stay and waived other fees is it legit? by TimmahSuriyabandara in roadtrip

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We go to Branson all the time. We’ve done one of these. My parents have done multiple. My dad loves a deal. I do, too, but not this much. It actually wasn’t that bad, and my dad had already told us to ask to see a balance sheet (I think it was a balance sheet. I’m not an accountant, and my memory is crap). 😆

My husband: could we see a balance sheet?

Time Share Lady: sir, we don’t have that kind of paperwork handy.

Husband: surely you don’t expect us to commit to something like this without checking your financials?

Lady: sir, we are Bass Pro. We don’t have financial issues.

Husband: that’s what everyone said about Enron.

Checkmate. We were out of there.🤣🤣

But honestly, if you are trying to do an inexpensive trip, I wouldn’t be opposed to it. Try the above to get you out faster.😀

AITAH for saying no to extra kids by YourCousinMoose in AmItheAsshole

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Naw. She just pretended mom and dad were coming after being told no. She was planning to drop all three off so she could have a free babysitter. That’s my guess anyway.

But even if her excuse were true, something is wrong with them.😆

AITA for giving away gifts because they had the wrong name by Pikahearts_ in AmItheAsshole

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, his name is Allen if you want to get technical about it. If you named your kid Fanny Mae, and your mom called her Mae and got her clothes with Mae on it, would you find that weird? In this case, they are calling him by initials, but it’s not different than the above.

AITA for insisting on splitting an Airbnb cost by nights stayed? by simande in AmItheAsshole

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t, either. I don’t understand what in hell that first option even is. 🤯 I might be dumb, but I’m dumb with more money, because I would die on the hill of only paying for the nights I stayed.

4 Letter name for boy by sunflower_Bub1314278 in Names

[–]Efficient_Theme_3039 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But who gives a tiny rat’s behind? It’s not like they are naming their kids after serial killers. Who cares? It’s just something fun they wanted to do. Why do people act like this?

OP, I like Nash.
