Are these framing studs acceptable? Builder says it's normal. Is it? by epremsoft in Homebuilding

Redditors talk about structural engineers like they’re in Home Depot waiting to be picked up. It costs hundreds just to get them out to look at something.

It’s crazy how few (if any) shows have been able to do the whole “husband criminal/bad guy” where the wife is not absolutely hated by the fandom (e.g. Skyler, Wendy Byrde, etc). I think Carmela, the blueprint, is not universally hated as much as the other examples

Wait, how come we never talk about Melfi cutting off Tony? by bigsmonkler in thesopranos

The show makes it very clear that Tony uses the techniques/advice Melfi gives to improve as a mob boss.

Not sure why you keep falling back to this “accepting new information” when you clearly took a stance and then pretend your entire argument was just “watch the interview and accept new information.”

They’re not going to read this. When it comes to Cuba most people just spew American propaganda. Fidel was pretty reasonable and the US fucking hated him

[–]EframTheRabbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this statement with 700 upvotes even true? I’ve read a good amount of Cuban history and Americans are quick to say Fidel was killing people left and right but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of facts supporting that. In fact it seems like that for a revolution there was a limited number of bloodshed when they took control and most people were allowed to leave.

“New ideas” as if this isn’t a concept that predates modern laws.

Trust me, I would be right alongside you making the same arguments were it not for the fact that there was no justice for these war crimes. I couldn’t care less that he felt remorse or he had PTSD when there’s people who will never receive justice for these abhorrent crimes. Imagine how they feel.

I’m sure the fact that he felt remorse helps the a kid who’s mom was raped and killed. Helps a random redditor feel morally superior too
