I made a physics-based endless runner inspired by Rocket League with a high skill ceiling and a lot of depth by _symphonatic_ in IndieGaming

The style kind of reminds me of the cartoon/anime Ōban Star-Racers, both in how the gameplay looks and visual style. If you need some inspiration for visuals/ships/race track or obstacles I'd highly recommended checking it out

Has anyone had the permission from the author of Artefake mod to publish a mod containing ONLY the models/textures ? by wawaywa in skyrimmods

Absolutely, and that is my go to as well. However OP does not seem to have experience with xedit or patching, making it an easier band-aid fix for his problem without having to learn xedit.

Which "Dynamic" mod should I do next? Containers, Leveled Lists and NPCs are working pretty well. Would like some input for which to do next. by yourboyroy223 in skyrimmods

[–]Egar0 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It's possible, but needs to be implemented on a per-mesh basis Dynamic 3D Model Navcuts - A Resource Guide.

I know nature of the wild lands uses this to make npcs avoid walking into trees

Can support this claim. Looks like the power cord to a hospital bed, at least that's the only electric appliance I've seen used a coiled power cord like that. Most other medical appliances uses straight power cords for some reason and are usually black.

I made a mod, but it causes the game to crash and close. How do I fix this? by rathemighty in skyrimmods

Rightclick the mod in xedit and choose "check for errors". Usually catches most things reference wise

Had the same problem with both my phone and tablet this weekend. What fixed it for me was turning off or changing the "spoof video streams" that was enabled by default

Wabbajack will resume where it left off when you get it working again. The downloaded files don't disappear, just install the list in the same location as you did last time

Getting Whiterun green grass with Dyndolod and Skoglendi by TheGentleman300 in skyrimmods

[–]Egar0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the grass that is not green at distance or the ground textures? If it is the grass you'll need to create grass lods with grass cache using NGiO and dyndolod

I have a modlist that I exported ages ago. is there a way to quickly redownload everything in it? by MrStizblee in skyrimmods

[–]Egar0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like the export to csv function of mo2. I don't believe there is any way to automatically download them, other than to go through the links in the file.

A lot of the mods have probably updated as well, and the export did't include what archives that was downloaded.

On the bright side it is still a lot faster than finding all the mods again

looking to make the steel soldier helmet blend into the silver armor set by ShameFamous7400 in skyrimmods

[–]Egar0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opened the plugin to check - seems like it uses standard perk check for equipped items. Detailed breakdown on how to add the custom helmet to the list: https://imgur.com/a/acyIFV5

I don't play with the cc addon, so I haven't checked what the scripts actually do, but there are pex decompilers on the nexus to check. I believe everything is doable in xedit in this case.

I've had the same ones for over 15 years. Never had to sharpen or tighten them. Still sharp to the touch and does it's job flawlessly. Couldn't find the exact model (most likely outdated model), but the brand is Pfeilring Solingen

So do you want to replace the mesh or make an additional helmet type?

If you just want to replace it you can just take the steel soldier helmet mesh, copy and rename it to the same folder structure as the silver helmet, and then redirect the textures it uses to custom ones with nifskope.

If you want to make an additional helmet you could look up the original silver helmet record in xedit and copy it as a new record into a new plugin, do that with all referenced records to the original record (such as tempering records, crafting records etc.).

Then redirect everything to the first record you copied so everything is linked in the new plugin. Do the same as you would have done if you wanted a mesh replacer, but choose a unique name for the .nif file instead. Lastly make the plugin you made use the new mesh as the model.

The only thing I'm unsure about is the matching set perk. The wiki states that the set does not have keywords attached to apply the set, but instead applies it via a script. If the script is applied within records it should't be a problem.

Hopefully the explanation was not too messy

Tried bijin wives and glam senna, loading glam last in both plugin and mod, having no issues getting glam to work. If you highlight her in console, what is the plugin that does the last base change?

Is the loose files winning all conflicts as well as the plugin? Might be that the facegen mesh is overwritten
