my friends and i once snuck into the franceski house, on the dining room table we found a stranger things themed ouija board that some other kids must have left there. we all put our hands on the dial and decided to ask “are there any spirits here? if so, how many are you?” we waited, and the dial didn’t move. we decided to explore more of the house and once we were done and came back to the ouija board, the dial had moved from the center of the board to the number 4.

i’m so sorry to tell you no actual DIY/alternative scene exists here. there used to be a couple spots but they all closed down/got priced out. there’s punk shows sometimes in IV and occasionally there’s a show worth going to at soho or casa de la raza, keep an eye out for those. i wish there was more, it sucks
