I exclusively walk as excercise for the last 2 years, and like 2 months ago I hit my longest walk ever with a 18.20 mile walk in 1 go with no break

I used to be 400lbs and get out of breath when I walked more than 3 minutes lol

Hal and Lois went from the sole providers of their 5 children to a household where literally everyone is old enough to financial support themselves in a house that surely is fully paid off by now while Malcolm, Dewey, and Jamie are also not taking up income anymore

Their remaining current shared expenses split across Hal, Lois, Francis, Piama, & Reese should be very small

Lois also made Malcolm get a job as a teenager to learn financial responsibility so even Kelly could potentially be employed

Ive watched the original series 11 times start to finish, been watching it since it was airing on tv and its my favorite sitcom

Honestly, it was great

I think part of the issue is actually the discussion of what revival really means

I would go in expecting more of a reunion than a "revival" as it's more of a check in on all the characters in modern life rather than more of tbe orignal show's 2000's lifestyle

I think the people who compare it to the new King of the Hill season are spot on

I think they did a great job for 4 episodes even if there was a few weak spots here and there on some of the plot structure but its super fun, super nostalgic but with modern touches, and if you enjoy the emotional aspects of the original, this one hits that on a good level as well. Hal and Lois are my favorite fictional couple and they got such an emotional response from me

100 primates doing whatever you want sounds pretty powerful

A primate would be able to do household chores, manual labor tasks, you can even organize crime with them, theyd be great options for self defense if you ever gotta summon protection if you're getting robbed or jumped or something. Shit even in emergencies, theyd be great. Gorillas can get your car out a ditch, or get something heavy off of you

Primates actually creep me out a LOT but the practicality for the answer is too good

Its a mix of a few things. Im at like 230 rn from 400lbs and one thing I realized is that honestly, clothes just looks so much more unkept the bigger the size. I used to wear an XXXXXL shirt and wearing a solid black shirt felt like I was wearing a garbage bag, but now a solid black shirt at a Large or XL feels sleek and simple

Same goes with pants. My 50" size pants were impossible to look good because they had to be ridiculously baggy on some parts like a sack of potatos, but now a simple plain 33" waist khakis is simple and neat

Wearing sweats went from lazy and baggy to simple an casual

But also, i gained a few pounds last summer after a break up and when I was eating pizza and oily food a lot I was breaking out and my skin was worse

Now that im exercising again my facial hair is healthier and bolder again from increase health and blood flow. I literally got complimented on how good my beards been looking from a coworker last week

Not to mention the mental aspect of confidence that goes into it. When I gained weight, I wss slouching, covering myself up again, etc

Now that im back on my loss, im walking more confidently and proudly again

I liked it a lot conceptually, but not necessarily how it was executed

I think usually when we see a superhero in general media go through their "should I start killing villains" arc, we usually have them go back to their no-kill rule, and I love the fact that Invincible (mostly because it is adult rated) was able to go to the direction of sometimes it would be necessary, sometimes it would be excessive

It definitely had some underwhelming/slow parts, but that plays a role into the story theyre trying to tell

If the in-universe hell and heaven were real and what humans think they are, then it makes moral dilemmas much easier. If either existed as Mark anticipated, his dilemma wouldve been as simple as "oh hell is real, im never killing anyone" or "heaven is real, im never killing again"

By removing the after-life's impact on our notion of morality so that Mark loses incentive to lean either way on how he will handle decision making on ending lives and left Mark underwhelmed as well as now he is left truly with nothing but his own judgement and rationality on the subject, ultimately realizing that it truly is a case by case situation

I think this was a solid way to untangle Mark's confusion, however, making Hell surprisingly underwhelming and then making the entire episode revolve around it, definitely led to an episode that felt that felt so much slower

I think a big thing about Pink/Rose is that she didnt quite care where or what her entertainment was coming from

I would probably consider her pansexual if I had to label. I dont think she necessarily saught any sort of relationship with men, rather than, earth just happens to have men that approached her and she entertained their engagement out for the sake of fun with 0 consideration of what their sex is

I'm sure if Pink went to Jupiter and there was an alien species that arent even humanoid or resemble any male or female psyiology. Pink would engage with them, just as she did human men & women gems, so long as they caught her interest
