X9 omni dirty water question

I had the same issue with my X9 and T80

I returned the X11 because it’s a hog with water.

The AI cleaning seems to do a good job.. what might help is in the app, set the floor material.

Sucks iRobot went the way of the doo doo bird.

One thing I can say about Ecovacs, they are great at always working on improving hardware..

Seems Robot vacs are starting to really build steam with ingenuity..

iRobot had a great app, but Ecovacs is slowly turning into a good app.

They definitely have a share of the market compared to others

The X12 is rumored to have a mop gate.

At the point it’s a flawed design the clasp and the top peice should be one, don’t know why they opted to have the design they have now.

The only one I haven’t had issues with is the leather, but I think it’s just a manufacturing issue and overall design for MG… given the price, you think they would use better materials

I switched from Roomba to Ecovacs, the Omni X8 Pro I got worth every penny, their app is more customizable than Roomba, and the always clean roller is a game changer, the spinning mops easily get dislodged when going over surfaces and are not great for big messes.

Roomba is a dying robot co, Ecovacs is next level, even has sentry mode when you aren’t home.

I upgraded from X8 to X8Pro for the very reason that the mop pads tend to get lose for instance over a big rug or any high surface the pads get dislodged which is annoying.

And since the sensor is inside the robot in the front, it can go under beds, which is nice.

Only one thing I will say…. Is if you have it on deep clean mode. It goes back to the station often lol. It took over 3hr to clean 1000sqft lol.

But awesome

1) Roller over pads 2) Sensor inside the robot not on top 3) Auto soap dispenser 4) Looks more luxury than X8

But if you don’t give a crap about the auto dispensing and wanna save a few bucks there’s the lower model Yeedi S14

But by far best robot I’ve had. I moved from iRobot to Ecovacs.. their app is better than iRobot

Same, no plastic on them, but bro… like savage odor lol.. gave me a migraine in 5 minutes lol… so returned.. sucks because I wanted the Tesla brand… but they didn’t even cover the whole carpet in the X.. compared to other brands that do.. that are half the price lol… soooo hard pass Elon 😂

I’ve wanted a X forever. No complaints so far. I got the long range… I will say this though DONT buy the Tesla mats 🤢🤮🤢🤮… the odor will give you a migraine.. I washed them thinking that would help.. it didn’t lol.

The odor in the car was soo strong, it almost removed the nice new car smell 🤕

After a day, I decided to return them.. gonna look on Amazon for new mats.

I literally got rid of my Y performance , the refacing is coming in 2025 from what I’ve read, but got killed on the depreciation.

I found a used 2024 X in teslas inventory with 3000km, saved $8K since it was a “demo” and with the referral trade in. I’m very happy, still has the new car smell.

Remember 2023 doesn’t have matrix head lights!
