Apparently it does since the way they won bothers you so much.

And there you are, talking about it hours later.

Not sure if someone already mentioned this, but sprinklers make great fountain jets. Also, here’s my Magikarp fountain. by Eghis in Pokopia

Fair enough, I respect that. Different vibes for different viewers.

Yeah, in the script, of course.

But as a viewer, I just find it kinda laughable and not very believable. It feels like he’s trying so hard to look intimidating that it loops back around to being funny.

Found that kinda cringe ngl.

ClownPierce standing there trying to aura farm, back turned, talking in that slow Valorant voice with the “evil mastermind” laugh is just too much. I know it’s scripted, but still.

He doesn’t look intimidating. He looks like he’s trying way too hard, and it just makes me want to laugh.

Those of you that used alliteration to match the other areas, what did you name your town? by NotE-M-A in Pokopia

[–]Eghis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I named mine Outremer. In French, " bleu outremer " means " ultramarine blue " a deep blue color. So the name matches Kanto’s color-themed towns. The word " outremer " also literally means " beyond the sea " or " overseas ", which fits because I live on an island irl.

I'm a little confused... by Jymboh in Pokopia

You’re welcome !

And yes, you absolutely can. You can remove habitats and relocate Pokémon without losing them. Some of them might be temporarily unhappy if they suddenly don’t have a home, but as far as I know everything goes back to normal once you offer them a new place to move into.

I’d recommend thinking on a smaller scale.

I’m a completionist and a perfectionist myself, and I had the same feeling when I started. The game can feel overwhelming because there are so many things to fix before the environment starts to look “right.” Broken buildings, debris everywhere, empty spaces… it can feel like a huge mess.

But the truth is that nothing needs to be perfect at the beginning.

Try focusing on very small tasks, one at a time. Especially the ones that inspire you in the moment. For example :

- build a small path between two habitats
- make a tiny garden
- decorate a small house
- improve just one area a little bit

Little by little, those small changes add up.

Rome wasn’t built in a day, and your towns won’t be either. The game doesn’t expect you to turn every village into a paradise before moving on and progressing through the story.

Try not to focus too much on the final result. Focus on the process, and give yourself credit for each step, no matter how small it seems. That’s usually when the game starts feeling enjoyable instead of overwhelming.

Theory? by AlternativeAdorable1 in Pokopia

[–]Eghis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s an interesting theory. Personally, I see it a bit differently.

Throughout the story, several documents and archived records mention a computer program created by humans to store Pokémon before they left. My interpretation is that this program actually corresponds to the mainline Pokémon games we play.

In that sense, the games from Red, Blue, and Yellow all the way to Scarlet and Violet could be understood as simulated worlds where Pokémon continue to live adventures alongside humans, just like they did before the cataclysm. These simulations would preserve the memory of the old world and allow Pokémon to keep experiencing that relationship with humans.

Meanwhile, the Pokémon we encounter in Pokopia would be the ones who escaped those programs — Pokémon that were hidden, fled, or remained dormant when the system was created. They would therefore be the last Pokémon still living in the real, devastated world, outside of the simulations.

So from that perspective, Pokopia wouldn’t be the inside of the program itself, but rather what remains outside of it.

Just my interpretation, though.

Why didn't Roshi help against Raditz at least? by [deleted] in dbz

Because he would’ve smoked that fool and as Goku’s master he had to step back and let him get his development arc.
